Checking in was great. No issues. Looks like they’re are some renovations happening, but it didn’t disrupt my stay. Great to see it’s getting some TLC. Will be nice when it’s finished.

The room, very clean but looked tired needed a fresh coat of paint. Staff very helpful and polite especially Kattie and Alanah on Reception. Food was disappointing.

Not great. Very dated. Reception spent 10 minutes on the phone while I was trying to check in

The buffet was refreshed on a regular basis

Great welcome, hotel was full of happy atmosphere. (Halloween time!!) Busy pub and the food was really tasty.

We stayed here for just one night, and that was more than enough. The room was completely run dowb, falling apart and depressing, but at least it looked somewhat clean, so I bit my tongue. The shower? Freezing cold or lukewarm at best. I told the front desk, and while they were “friendly,” nothing was actually done. The next morning, I asked if the manager was informed, and they basically shrugged it off, saying since we refused maintenance (after already suffering through the cold shower), there was nothing they could do. So here’s the truth: the room was a dump, the water was awful, and the customer service was useless. Don’t waste your money at this hotel.

Good location good breakfast no decaf tea or coffee bathroom furniture old and worn no hand soap or shower gel in dispensers great swimming pool however showers smell and of mould and drains better not to use them steam room good in general staff friendly and helpful

Nice and quiet, quite a long walk to town but there is a bus. Pub has decent food. Breakfast is a ripoff.

Convenient to town

Great location, room was not very clean with cobwebs and a spider in the bathroom. No amenities in the bathroom either.

The hotel need major updates. Would not stay there again.
