Staff at front desk is super friendly. Room was very nice size. Loved the shower and the size of it compared to other hotels on our travels. Loved we were located right next to the castle but unfortunately it was closed for renovations. Also close to the train station and we took a nice walk along the water and over to Santa Margherita for shopping and dinner.

Great location and view. Staff were always friendly and helpful. breakfast option was great. 24/7 air-conditioning which is not common at most hotels.

Our room had the best sea view & the sound of the waves was so relaxing. As we were staying late in the season the repair & building work had started but this caused no disturbance or noise. The staff were amazing, the room was great with a powerful & spacious shower. Can't wait to stay again.

Positives: The location is excellent. An easy walk from the train station. Staff are friendly and provided tea making facilities on request. Great views from the upper floor balcony room. Good water pressure in the shower. Room overall, a little too small - restricted access to wardrobe, fridge and safety deposit box. Cleanliness. Negatives: Building work - not notified. Shower cubicle - the position of the shower head limits the space, shower gel container too high, vanity mirrors in the bathroom and the bedroom are too low/high. Water temperature wasn't steady, ranging from hot to cold when using the shower. Overall Rating: 4/5

Beautiful right on the water

Hotel Italia e Lido Rapallo is a great hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was on the fourth floor with a beautiful view of the Rapallo Harbor there was a nice little bistro set on the balcony to enjoy the view and coffee or a cocktail it is centrally located to walk to all the shops and restaurants in Rapalo. The staff was fantastic from front desk to Housekeeping. We will definitely stay there again we had one of the larger rooms and it was still a little on the small side, but typical Italian style The only real drawback was the size of the shower. Similar to a small motorhome shower.

We had a wonderful stay recently in this lovely hotel. It’s in the perfect location with amazing views and the staff were all great.

Location was ideal, the train station was a 5 minute walk, the old town even less, and right on the end of the promenade. Room was clean. Facilities were decent, 2 nice terraces and a good restaurant attached. Plenty of communal spaces. The staff were friendly and informative. Only negative is not on the hotel itself but Hotels.com who showed photos of the Superior Room when selling the Classic Sea View room, which only has a tiny balcony looking awah from the harbour, and is not like the one in the Hotels.com photos

Nice hotel with perfect location. Friendly saff. Reasonable price. Not that modern but good enough. We will stay here again if going to Rapallo.

Great location and view from the balcony. Friendly staff. However, the room was not properly cleaned (lots of dust and hairs on floors and table), even after we made the staff aware of it.

Fantastiskt läge och underbar utsikt från terass och frukostmatsalen! Bra luftkonditionering på rummet och trevlig personal. Rejäl och bra frukost för 12euro, 7 euro för en lite enklare. Värt pengarna! Vi kände oss mycket välkomna och kommer absolut att bo här om vi besöker Rapallo igen.

What a gem of a hotel. A shocker was that the restaurant was the best we had in town as well! It's human nature to assume their must be something more "authentic" elsewhere, but don't go through the stress -- just roll downstairs and go for it.

The staff here is super friendly and there’s a beach right out front. I would definitely recommend this. Everything you need is walkable distance.

The setting is gorgeous. The property is delightful and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful.

Goes beyond its three star status. Relaxed, helpful friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and if you choose to eat dinner they have a real chef! They seem to actually care about providing a good service.
