Fantastique

Excellent property in a small village. Have stayed here three times & always a pleasure to do so. Dinner is expensive but very good quality - not much else nearby... so treat yourself! Breakfast is excellent - great choices, plenty to have. Maybe not as good as previously... but still very good. The onsite spa / pool is lovely... as are the gardens. If you are travelling north or south past Tours... this is a great place to stop!

The property itself was a beautiful setting for a spa and the staff wonderful. The restaurant. "L'Ardoise Saveurs des Thomeaux" was PHENOMENAL. You could order multiple courses with different options. We were so glad to have stayed there despite the challenges. One, being wifi. The wifi by the restaurant was amazing. Our bedroom being in a very old century building, couldn't access the wifi we needed so we didn't have any during our stay while in the room. Also, although the bathrooms are modern, there was mold along the trim and on the shower stall floor and the carpeting was extremely dirty. I still would recommend the hotel for it's fine dining alone. One of our favourite memories in France. Perhaps an update to the carpet and replacement of trim in washroom would refresh the room we stayed in to be a more fresher experience.

Sauna was broken that day but the steam room and pool were great temperatures and condition. No vegetarian options whatsover meant had to drove out. Room would have been 4* except someone had smoked in it some point in its past...easily dealt with by the window open- overall a great stay

Very nice place to stay... close to Tours & Blois / Orleans, if heading north or south from the UK to the the south of France. Really great food & service. Very nice indeed!

The complex is strategically located to explore the area. Rooms are clean breakfast is great with local products. The restaurant is the best part! We had amazing food at reasonable prices

Nice stay with the family. We stayed in a lodge that was clean and ok.

Sweet little property very close to Amboise. Nice indoor pool, although colder than we remembered from our previous trip. Last time, we had a room in the main building. This time- the “annex” which we don’t recommend. A bit more street noise, church bells at 7 am and not as charming

Free access to nice spa. Some rooms are a bit further out of the property though, so our group was separated. Only one meal option at the restaurant.

We loved it! Check-in was a breeze and they upgraded us to a nicer room, free of charge (it was really hot and they upgraded us to a room with AC, which happened to be a larger room than what we booked). The place is clean, charming and we loved the spa!! The spa facility is small (pool with jets, dry sauna for 5ppl and hammam/wet sauna for 5ppl) but it was a great (free) surprise and a much appreciated addition compared to most hotels/apartments that we typically book. Would stay her again for sure!

We really enjoyed or visit to the hotel. We didn’t stay for long because we were visiting the castles in the area, but we really enjoyed our stay! It was very centrally located to all the castles we wanted to visit, and a really nice property. We would definitely stay there again. Also, it was nice to have a couple fans in the room to keep it cool during the hot summer nights.

We loved the hotel and our large room. The spa was fantastic. Dinner was expensive and our waiter was rushed and not very friendly. Food was good but experience could have been better for the cost. Overall we had a lovely time in a beautiful place. Not much English spoken here

We were in the annex in a room that was small and needed renovation. It was an ok stay overall but nothing to write home about. The 'spa' was across the road and inconvenient. Our expectations were not met.

Lovely hotel ..great to have the pool & spa after a day on the road ... restaurant excellent. Stayed in a cottage in the grounds ... only quibble is that it was a bit gloomy ... oddly sited lights. Large safe car park ... easy access for cycling or walking along the Loire. Lovely grounds with different places to sit in the sun ...

Good size room, clean and well equipped. Air conditioning was very welcome given the heat! Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent restaurant.

Beautiful property in a central location with amazing staff

My only complaint is that this hotel advertised an indoor pool, which it does have. However the hotel uses it more for spa purposes and it really isn’t for children. They did “allow” our 13 and 10 year old to use the pool, but only from 7-9 pm. Website should be more specific regarding the pool.

The staff is so nice and very helpful. Such a nice and zen environment. Good restaurant. Just remember that your room might be outside but that's still so good
