A very good selection of hot and cold foods, freshly made. Good coffee. Had gluten-free bread available.

Room was clean. Breakfast was exceptionally good with a variety of items that we did not get tired of. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was central enough that we walked everywhere. We would definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay! It couldn’t be in a better area. Very walkable to restaurants and bars and shopping. The full breakfast is an excellent feature! Fresh lemon water available all day. Nice decor. We had a big balcony! Will be back if we’re ever in Ottawa.

Everything there was perfect including the very attentive staff. The only issue was what was missing. The two bed suite had no comfortable chair, just the table and chairs and the beds. Bit hard on the back after a long day.

Very well situated in easy walking distance of all major sites, Many restaurants nearby . The hotel was clean and comfortable with a decent buffet breakfast. Parking close by was very affordable.

The hotel is fabulous, from the reception, to the rooms...boarding...you really get value for your money. The buttet breakfast was excellently served. The staff are kind and friendly. I would recommend it without hesitation! Keep it up!

Great location. Clean rooms and the fridge, coffee and microwave was much appreciated in the room. Breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold foods.

This was an excellent hotel. No frills in the best way possible - all the things we needed were at our disposal. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back.

Great cozy hotel. Within close walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at the Byward Blue. We love the European feel. The rooms are very spacious and clean and we had a huge patio looking out over Parliament. The breakfast is tasty and the staff very pleasant. It is perfect if you want to spend time in the Byward area.

This hotel was fantastic. It’s a bit no frills but was spotlessly clean and our room had all the amenities we could want. We sat out on our little balcony and enjoyed a drink and the view. We also really loved the delicious full breakfast. I was expecting just muffins and coffee so eggs, toast, croissants and fruit (plus lots of other options) was a delightful surprise. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

The best thing that we enjoyed was the breakfast, very good.
