It was a nice stay, however we were overcharged for the room. I booked the room through hotels.com at the rate they had listed. When I checked out of the hotel they charged me a different rate. I called to talk to someone at the hotel about it and I was transferred to 3 different people and then left on hold for over 30 minutes. I tried calling back and no one would take my call. I reached out to hotels.com and they tried contacting the property and the property even ignored them! Unbelievable!!

It was a very nice stay. I wish the pool was warmer and the pancake machine didn’t work but overall it was a fine visit and location.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel is very well kept. One staff member recommended a great place for dinner. The girl that checked us out was not very personable in the way that she spoke. I requested a bill and she wouldn't print one for me. She curtly told me that Expedia would email it to me.

Great breakfast

The location to Sandy Hook is the real reason we like going to this property. We’ve always chosen this hotel, however, this stay has made us think otherwise. As we entered our room, there was an awful smell that didn’t go away our whole stay and they were sold out so we couldn’t move. The air conditioner in the bedroom part of our suite wouldn’t get cold. And the tv had maybe 3 working channels, which with kids was hard. And we went to throw our clothes into the laundry and was informed they weren’t working. Positives, are that the staff is wonderful, area is nice and they have a decent breakfast.

Room was clean, comfortable, staff attentive, breakfast was great and convenient, fitness room clean and had good equipment, pool was nice just the water was cloudy. The water was clean, just needs some clarity. WiFi was excellent!

Excellent room. Quiet. My wife didn’t care for the breakfast food. It seemed okay to me but I did not see bowls for the cereal.

I asked for the manager the entire time I’ve been there but the manager “didn’t work today” each day. The room smelled like pee and I couldn’t figure it out. The sheets were clean I told them the first night they said they were all booked and couldn’t do anything about it. The next morning I woke up to make my bed to discover they had made the bed with clean sheets but a dirty URINATED ON mattress cover!!!!! I slept on someone else’s urine for a whole night!!!

This was such an upgrade from where I originally booked!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The hotel was clean, cozy, and had such a good vibe overall. But what really made it special was the staff they were so friendly, helpful, and genuinely made me feel welcome from start to finish. 10/10 would come back!

The oerall stay was just fine. However, there was confusion at check-in. When I booked online with hotels.com, I had to make a deposit and was given the balnce due (at check-in). However, when I got to check-in, I learned there was no deposit and the full amount was billed to my card. I understand that hotes.com didn't charge me for the deposit but it was very confusing at check-in because I thought I had paid the deposit.
