This was an oasis for us after a rough four days. The staff works very hard, but not as effectively as they could. IT could be that we were there during the busiest week of the year for them, so keep that in mind. That said, check-in and check-out both took a long time - at least 30-45 minutes, coming and going. Getting a drink at the bar took time - just too much demand, not enough staff. This is a delightful place to go with a family - they especially seem to look after younger kids. The pools are amazing. We did not have the time we would have liked to enjoy the beach. For adults - the spa area, with sauna, steam room, tepidarium, and the pool was a delightful experience. Restaurants and main dining were decent.

The front office staff was excellent and helpful. The massage treatment room was freezing and very uncomfortable.

Beautiful place. Nice people . Feel very safe. Buffet Food is not Amazing but pretty good. Monica (the manager) was really helpful with everything. She was the best.

We had an incredible time. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was very diverse with many options and delicious. I loved their grill. The beach is wonderful for walking along the shore. The pools are very beautiful. The colors of green and light blue and yellow houses... loved it. It has entertainment every day with the most lovely staff. Service was incredible. All in all wonderful.

The ocean Access and super clear water

Property is old and poorly maintained. The food service is terrible. The main restaurant is extremly small for all the people in the resort, so everybody is always on top of each other to try to get to the food. The birds and pidgeons walk over the food trays...just awful... You can only try one of theme restaurants and the one we tried was on the side of the main property and next to another hotel which seems to be abandoned. The building of the restaurant is also old and poorly maintained, with very limited food options. On top of all this, when we got there and went to sleep in the first night, the bed and the wall behind the bed was full with ants and other small bugs. We asked to solve this and the staff actually solved our problem quickly by changing us to another room which was much better maintained and clean. The only reason I don't rate this with only 1 star is because the staff is actually competentent. Bottom line, the value that is paid doesn't match what you get. Never staying there again

Great place for relax and vacation with family

In desperate need of upgrades. Grounds need more attention to detail for 5*. Majority of room are infested with ants.

Everything was great! It was nice to have access to everything I needed right at the resort. I would love to go back soon!

Wasn’t prepared for such a family oriented place. It was not the type of stay we were looking for. Too many lines for EVERYTHING, and screaming kids. We saw huge cockroaches near food; and probably the worst part was for an “all-inclusive resort” they charged just to use an unbrela/chair at the beach. I could go on, but I want to forget it, very disappointed!

Excellent services and humble staff. It was my first time and just simply called in love with the hotel and surely will co e back really soon. Thank you Pestana Group Hotels team.

amazing experience in this all inclusive resort that's connected to a beautiful sandy beach. The hotel has loads of amenities to keep everyone happy. The room was clean big and well decorated. definitely recommended it.

This holiday was a special occasion for us as we were on "honeymoon".We thought it an idyllic setting and the 9km beach was breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our holiday memorable.We had champagne on ice & chocolates on our arrival & as it was my "husband's" birthday during our stay,they arranged for a birthday cake be sent to our room,all complimentary....very special touches. The food was delicious and plenty of variation. We even had a champagne breakfast one morning! We would love to go back here and would definitely recommend the hotel and The Expedia Team for their help and guidance when booking.We upgraded to a pool side balcony view and are so glad we did this .

This is the best hotel we have stayed in and was faultless.

The hotel and its location are good,very clean ,with good overall amenities and hit the 5* rating for us.It is best suited to families with small children who are happy to spend time around the pool or on the beach as the Island is quite isolated.The bedrooms are compact but well designed -well fitted and good air con.The food range just met 5* star ----but the main dining area was undersize---there were almost always queue's for entry and the inner/enclosed area was hot and sticky,with too much cooking smell and vapour eminating from the chef manned open grill at the rear - too poorly ventilated.The house white and red wines were extremely poor quality--I'd rate at 1 euro per bottle at best(youcan buy dozens of good quality different brands in the supermarket in the town for 1 to 3 euro's ).The manager we spoke too was very dismissive about our wine concerns,didn't argue the points and simply "told us" to pay for the better wines that the hotel had available---not a 5 * provision by far----many people were leaving their glasses after 1 sip.

Hotel is beautiful, but pretty far from the main city center 2 miles or so. They offer a Free shuttle, but it's a first come first serve basis. There are a few restaurants that you can walk to outside of the hotel grounds, but not too many options. Overall, beach was beautiful, food was good and would go back.

Hotel is located directly on super nice 9km long sand beach. Has all what person needs when going to vacation; nice pools, solid SPA and fitness and good quality food. Service is also of good quality.
