Beautiful main building & was surprised when I was told that I wasn't sleeping in the main building, but was put in timeshare property around the back. But tbf they, like most timeshare property were stunning very large, self catering apartments.

A beautiful property in a secluded location, with grounds for a short walk round to pass maybe 20 minutes. Clean and well sized one bedroom apartment. Didn't manage to use the pool but didn't seem busy when passing and this was in May. Would have been more than perfect if it wasn't for the poor WiFi and the dog mess near the pond. So be careful if you're walking in the grass.

Property is clean enough but quite dated. Service was ok, but only ok and opportunities to offer better services were missed often. Breakfast ‘tray’ was a Tesco bag dumped on our table (not in the fridge)with basic white sliced supermarket bread, butter, jam and OJ with a four pint of milk, which is as described but not exciting and as it wasn’t put in the fridge not great with the heat. It was delivered after 9am so too late to be of any actual is for us sadly. This needs 24 hr notice to get so if you don’t prebook it before you arrive it isn’t possible. The grounds are lovely as are the views, and it is nice and quiet. The pool can only be used in times they are not blocked for members only, There was nothing to be very upset about in this place, but very little to be excited about either. There is great opportunity for the owners here to make it amazing due to the superb location.

A terrific hotel. We had a 6 person apartment which was spacious and clean with everything we needed. Play area great for kids and we loved the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Very pretty location too. Highly recommend.

A good

A stunning facility in a rural property in belies the quality of this place. Check in was painless, efficient and helpful with clear directions to our room, once there WOW. Walked into a very large room with more space one would expect in a 5 star establishment. Big comfortable bed, really good bathroom and kitchen to boot. If we were going to stay in the area this would be the place to choose. Had dinner there and service was lovely, food plentiful and tasty and a pre dinner drink in the bar was greatly appreciated. Lawns and gardens immaculate and delightful to wonder around. Only concern are the narrow roads leading to the property but one must remember it is rural England so careful driving is advised.

Excellent modern and spacious apartments with everything you need to self cater in lovely green surroundings. Can be tricky to get there, so need a car really but it’s a very comfortable stay. The main hall/bar is beautiful, especially when they have piano player on at weekends. Value for money, especially silly with midweek stays and we have stayed many times now. Have tried a massage in the cabin next to the swimming pool which was nice but yet to try the swimming po - aiming to do that next time. Wonderful place for a bit of quiet time to yourselves.

It is a calm and quiet environment. Enjoyed every bit of my stay. Staff were really professional accommodating and helpful. I will surely visit again.

They have multiple buildings on the property. We had 2 rooms, not in the same building. Both were excellent, but one was superior and also had a washer/dryer. They were the same price, but room 30, was much more convenient, than the rooms in the 40’s. Longer walk and up a tight stairwell. Besides that, both rooms were great. Very spacious and convenient. Restaurant was full and no other dining options close by, so that was unfortunate. Our fault for booking last miniute though.

Beautiful stay here for 3 nights stayed in a 2 bed apartment/ home from home enjoyed using the swimming pool and jacuzzi although could stay open a little later than 8pm especially if you are travelling , would definitely come back again… had a great price and enjoyed every minute thank you to the team for making our stay memorable

Absolutely wick with Ants in the bin and then through the accommodation. I left a day earlier but wasn't refunded my seconded night cos ‘we can deal with this’ but also, eeeek I didn't want to stay in ant hell - they were everywhere!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, free parking , beautiful building , loved the aesthetic, was peaceful, staff was helpful, professional and friendly, nothing was any trouble. The apartment was fab, roomy and clean. A hidden gem ! Beautiful walks ,Would definitely return !

Lovely clean spacious room in beautiful setting. Please note kids under 14 can't go in pool alone even if parents sat on the side (8 and 11 year old wanting to go in more than i wanted to join them) parents are literally within touching distance on the side so this felt a little over cautious. Great there is an ev charger but struggled to use as often busy so would be great if there could be a couple more. Would def stay again, lovely spot

We had a Lovley stay It catered for us all . The room was huge 2 bathrooms was a luxury with 2 Teenagers in tow.reception staff were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble they even got us an extra quilt without fuss.pool and sauna were Lovley.rooms clean and tidy we will be back Thankyou xx

Plenty of parking, the site and environment is beautiful and quiet. Not many staff but they are helpful and responsive to sms /email. Facilities of leisure centre is adequate. The interior decoration is classical but a bit old. WiFi is weak. Overall, we have had a nice stay. Worth a stay in a listed building!

The place is great, very quiet and peaceful. My only complain is that the furniture and carpet in my room was old and that was an issue for my mother in law who had an allergy problem, and we could feel the sprungs on our mattress. The rest was great, the swimming pool, hot tub, all great.
