Moldy shower, most uncomfortable sofa bed ever, thin walls. Lots of noise. Nice, helpful staff.

A clean, modem and spacious apartment in the university area of Bordeaux. Friendly staff who spoke good English. Parking easy and free. Lots of restaurants nearby. Direct team to city centre.

Pretty good for the price. Very convenient if you are going to campus. Very quick and easy to do downtown with the streetcar. Quite a few restaurants around if you don't want to. Not much place to put your clothes away, and not many hangers. Besides this oversight, the room is comfortable.

This place is in a great location. It's very easy to get to the centre of Bordeaux from here and there's a tram stop about a 2 min walk from the hotel. It is also located next to a cinema and a very cute American style diner called Edwood café I believe (quite pricey, but good milkshakes). My issue with the place was that it was lacking some essential items. We reserved the place for 2 people, but they only provided towels for 1. Also, there was no bath mat and the bathtub was extremely slippery. My boyfriend ended slipping and falling because of this.... Otherwise we had a pleasant stay and everything else went smoothly.

I stayed here three nights. When i got there, the hotel gave me a guest room although I booked a junior suite room. I asked him to check it again. He gave a bigger room but the boiler was upper part of toilet seat. I had to be careful not to be hurt by the boiler while standing up from the toilet seat. Another twist was I paid city tax twice. It was 0.8 euro a night. The clerk asked me the tax when I checked in and he asked to pay when I checked out. Second time I was in rush and he asked for cash because the internet was not working. Except for those things it was a decent place. Clean nice neighborhood and close to city center by hopping on the tram right in front of the hotel.

When we arrived the cleaners were still in the room and we had to wait for about an hour even though we arrived after check in time. There were no towels in the room and toilet paper. The bathroom was mouldy and the shower head didn't work properly.

The rooms/apartments in this hotel are probably perfect for someone staying in the Bordeaux area for an extended trip on business etc. But, there were some issues. We clearly asked for and were told there would be 4 beds in each apartment. In fact there was one double bed and a double fold out couch. This was not ideal and if the advertisement had been more accurate we would not have stayed there. Also, the bedroom door for one of the apartments was broken off and just sitting next to the doorway. Overall, the property was clean and the woman who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. However, there is no-one at the front desk after 8pm. Keep this in mind if you aren't planning to arrive before that time. I don't remember any notice of this in the advertisement. We were lucky we got there in time.

Close to the university, cheap, simple, free wifi. Also close to the tram (Forum stop) so easy to get downtown (or about an hour to walk at a good pace). Reception is only open for the advertised times. Stayed for a week and the room was only cleaned once -- fine for me. Small stove and fridge provided. Had some problems checking in since the reception was not open. Apparently, if you book directly rather than through Expedia, you receive check in instructions, so contact the hotel if you will arrive off hours. Taxi from the airport costs 40-50 Euros.

Staff failed to clean the room although asked twice. Room size was much above average and there were beds to sleep four in a suite arrangement but would not consider staying there again.

Apartment is small, but equipped with everything you need. It was very hot, but the room had an opening door/window and fan. The area was quiet as it was on the outskirts of town, but with easy access to the tram system. Don't expect 4 star for the price you pay. We would stay here again.

Pluses: Spacious. Close to the university. Reasonable rates. Free wi-fi. Fridge and hot plate in room. Minuses: No air conditioning. No carpet. Overall: The pluses outweigh the minuses except on exceptionally hot nights.

There was not enough towels, 2 towels for 4 people and a baby. There were no blankets with the baby cot. No reference of numbers. There was no indication of NO 24 hour reception service. Sleep was terrible in an uncomfortable bed! And was advertised as a quad with 2 double beds and received a double and a pull out cot and a couch. Deceptive and not good for business!

Good points -Conveniently situated near tram stop (15 mins into centre of Bordeaux) with shops, bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. Free parking. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Generally good sound insulation. DVD player within TV. Disappointing areas: Lack of information from reception/ in room. Reception not open all day so difficult if you want to arrange taxis (although the bar below were helpful). Kitchen facilities very basic - not even a kettle. Decor a bit tired but ok..

A good basic hotel well located for exploring Bordeaux. Large room, but bathroom small, but dont expect to cook much in the kitchenette and no kettle! Tram just a 2 minute walk away, frequent and cheap service to centre of Bordeaux - only 15 minutes away. I would recommend this hotel for a budget stay for couples/students wishing to explore Bordeaux and if you have a car the surrounding areas.
