Great staff.

The hotel we originally booked had AC listed but it didn’t work. They told us this is the typical temperature AC provides in France. Called around and reception at Le Marceau let us know their rooms go down to 19c so we moved and were delighted and relieved! The room was clean, centrally located and the staff was excellent

Comfortable and clean with very friendly, helpful staff. Contemporary feel. Bedroom was small - if we had been two it would have been a squeeze - but I checked around a lot and the size of room and price in Paris seemed fair. Refillable soap etc in bathroom. Fridge. Breakfast was nice - lots of options including boiled eggs and good yogurt. The patio style doors to my room opened to the outside (I hate hotels where you can’t open windows!) but there was also air conditioning if needed - necessary during summer in Paris. I’d stay again if coming back. Note the gym is TINY with 4-5 exercise machines very close together (I went for runs in the Jardin des plantes instead). No weights. Nearest metro about an 8 minute walk but also easy to get to the Seine and walk along the river.

Hotel locate couple steps away from the Seine river. Very nice view and convenient to shop. Hotel room is spacious and well equipped. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is good but everyday is the same.

This is a great little boutique hotel. The rooms are comfortable and quiet with good use of space. The staff is friendly and helpful and there’s a good breakfast. The location is good with easy access to public transportation. It’s also walkable. The only thing I don’t like is the half shower door and hair dryer.

The location of the hotel is very good. Friendly and helpful staff. I got my room on arrival before the check in time. Late breakfast was also very convenient

The staff was always so kind. They were so friendly and helping the guests. I think the owner should be proud of the staff. I stayed 6 nights in this hotel. It was long, but thanks to them, my stay was so comfortable. The breakfast was perfect. The room was so clean. It was easy to access both from Bastile metro station. You can also get to the hotel from Gare de Lyon metro station on foot. However, if you stay in Paris for the first time, Gare de Lyon is too big and complicated to get out:)

We've stayed there before. Its a lovely hotel situated in a good psrt if Psris within easy reach of lots of bars etc

Stayed here for 7 nights while attending the Paris 2024 Paralympics. The hotel was lovely and all the staff very nice and friendly. Would def recommend & stay there again. My only negative comment is that the city tax was increased by 300% just for the 2024 Olympics which ended up costing us an extra €227 ! Having made the booking 11 mths earlier Hotels.com had not warned us of this increase nearer the time of our trip.

Great place

My daughter and I travelled to Paris and stayed at Le Marceau Bastille for three nights. Front staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed advice on directions, and accommodating with any additional requests that we needed. Rooms were clean and the bed was surprisingly very comfortable! We walked most places but Metro is close and the train station isn't too far either. There was lots of dining options near the hotel and it was nice to escape the very touristy parts of Paris! I would definitely recommend this hotel for other Mother/daughter travellers, couples or families!
