Room was clean and tidy. Simple, but authentic. Nice bathroom. Beach is stunning and easy access. We had the full board package and food was just okay…nothing more. Drinks are expensive but that is standard for an island. Staff are friendly but not always accurate in their information…like telling us that turtles are mammals!

We had fabulous time at Beachcomber Island Resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely food even though we are vegetarians everything was catered for. We had clean room, bathroom was clean and nice ocean views. I spent most of my time sitting on the deck and watching the ocean . It was so relaxIng. The Manager Hannah has been great looking after her guests.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay. Loved this place. Beautiful little island, great staff, great room and the food was well done. You can snorkle right off the beach or the staff will take you out to a nearby reef on their boat. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you.

Lovely island with friendly staff and very nice beaches and views. The bathroom in the hotel room wasn’t completely clean in some places but the bed was comfortable and the overall decor was nice, and the air con worked well. There was a large range of good food on offer and there were lots of activities and excursions available to do each day. If you want a purely quiet, undisturbed, retreat-style location then you may want to go somewhere else as there is a bit of relaxed background bustle throughout the day, however the vibe on the island is still very relaxing.

Awesome place to relax. Staff are very kind, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Love the views from the rooms and the food was also good. Good balance of peace vs party life. Corals so close by the island. Items to improve - provide at least a bottle of water per day to rooms, general pricing on everything is quite high and can see it is intentionally trained to staff, provide reasonable cost transfer options to island. Overall loved the holiday and would do it again. However if doing again, would do 1 or 2 nights than 5 nights as it is same entertainment for all days.

The Oceanfront Family Bure with a hammock between your Bure and the ocean, beautiful touch. Our family of four had plenty of room to sleep comfortably. Enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, mini golf, karaoke, or just bathing in the sun. Enjoy the experience as a day trip or stay over night and feel connected with other guests and the staff. The passion from the traditional Fijian songs to the Sunday evening church option makes this tiny island a unique experience. You can't help but enjoy your time there. It's the first place where I never opened my work laptop nor thought about working. VINAKA!

Loved the warm water snorkeling and staff providing it. Food is a little pricey , particularly if all you want for lunch is a sandwich. Getting older so can’t really eat that much

Went for a few days in March. The property is very nice; the beach is great. The “beachfront bure” is really on a rocky side of the island. Feels like an overstatement to call it beachfront. Perhaps oceanfront would be a better descriptive. Definitely needs some upgrading; a door in the shower going to ?? Had the handle broken off and toilet paper was jammed in there. The shower curtains were mouldy. Overall aesthetic issues however. The buffet food was mediocre as buffets tend to be. A la carte food was fantastic however. The staff were AMAZING. I cannot say enough good things about them. Frosty, thanks for all your warm and hospitable service. The dancers and entertainment crew were also great. Overall, good value for the price.

Before going to the Beachcomber Hotel we couldn't find many reviews online so we had to resort to personal experiences and comments from friends and co-workers. Most didn't have much more infomation besides it was the "party island" but still beautiful, since it's Fiji! We weren't really looking for a party 24/7, but wanted to have the option to party at night if we felt up to it. The Beachcomber was PERFECT for what we were looking for. It was our own private slice of paradise, we got a beachfront Bure with an amazing view of the sunset every night. The Bula Band was so much fun, every night (fri, sat, & sun) there was great (optional!) entertainment. Any activity you would want is available on the island; massages, scuba diving, mani/pedi's, FREE snorkeling, parasailing (recommend it!), sea kayaking, and island hopping tours! Granted, it may not be 5 star living, it is perfect for a weekend getaway. I give it a solid 3 stars as far as luxury standards, but it is a very exclusive island and frankly, the best way to experience the Mamanuca islands of Fiji. I would definitely go back, and in a perfect world, bring all my closest friends and family and just take the island OVER!!! The backpacker dorms were on the same island not too far from where our private Bure was - we walked by them one night and thought they looked really clean. I could definitely imagine having a great time staying there in my early 20's. The private Bure's were clean and provided everything you might need, including a fridge! Definitely BRING BUG SPRAY! They have some there to buy, but I got eaten alive the first night, since we sat on our private porch for a while after dark. It was truly my fault, but still, the Fijian mozzies are no joke. BULA! The Beachcomber Island Resort is sure to impress. :)

The hotel is not luxorius by any means, but the trip was amazing. The island is very small, takes less than 10 minutes to walk around. The sand has corral in it. However, I would go back any chance I get. If you are looking for a younger crowd and a good time, this is the place to go.

if you're looking for sunshine and a beach on a small island (5 minutes to walk around) and nightlife with a young party crowd from all over the world, this is your place! if you don't like to sleep with 100 other people in one room and if you're looking for quiet honeymoon nights, i would not recommend
