Only stayed there one night - staff were very helpful.

Recently refurbished to a high standard. Everything was really good.

Room was good. Clean, no issues. We were away before breakfast to catch ferry so no comment on breakfast.

Would recommend facecloth in bathrooms, plus small towel rack for hand towel above toilet (room 212), plus recommend at least one hand rail in shower. Should post policy notice regarding cleaning and towel replacement in the room.

Excellent hotel!

The hotel had been recently renovated and the design features were beautiful. It was a less than 5 minute walk from the bus station. It was a 2 minute walk to the centre of town. My sister and I would definetly recommend it to anyone. In fact we did tell people we met about it

Good location in central Kirkwall. Ate in Bar on successive evenings and the food was excellent. No dedicated parking but a pay parking site right outside with civilised charges and times so no problem there.

Very sound hotel with very good staff. It is very expensive though so not great value for money.

The large well equipped room and modern bathroom were very good . The location of the hotel is very central and close to a free car park . The quality of the breakfast was disappointing compared to every other hotel we have used this year. Regular tea was in a pot on a hot plate next to the coffee and therefore stewed . This was a first ! The woman running the breakfast on our first day was excellent trying to keep a fully booked room happy single-handedly with a smile and warm manner .

Great

Great location and access, though paid parking is a nuisance during an extended stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable if a bit oddly shaped, being squeezed into an older building. The breakfast cold buffet and full (hot) Scottish order process is more than adequate. The Bothy Bar is cozy and inviting, serving Orkney's great beers and whiskies.

Clean room, welcoming staff and good food. Nice location in a beautiful part of Scotland.

The Albert was an excellent place to stay for 3 days while we went around Okkney Islands. Our room was huge and a view of the ocean! The only possible drawback was parking can be a challenge! But doable.

Great hotel with good food and pub full of atmosphere

A spotlessly clean well situated Hotel with a lovely Bar

Great staff - very friendly and helpful. Must nominate Dawn the receptionist as being especially helpful when we were stranded due to the ferry being cancelled - she found us space in the same rooms again - result! We stayed in the new rooms and these were clean and warm. Bar was friendly and the food OK for both dinner and breakfast.

Breakfast was great and we liked the location, near shopping and the bus station. We also liked the Bothy Bar ;-)
