Fabulous stay, great service. Close to major shops.

We had a truly wonderful experience at the Shangri-La Hotel! The customer service was exceptional, and every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and professional. A special shoutout to Charlie, the concierge, who went above and beyond with amazing recommendations that made our stay even more memorable. Yuri (not sure of the spelling) who checked us in was warm and welcoming. We had a complimentary room upgrade on our last day, what a treat! This was our second time staying at a Shangri-La, the first being in Cebu, Philippines, and once again, it did not disappoint. Looking forward to our next luxurious Shangri-La escape!

The staff are really excellent. The local area is very good with plenty of places to eat nearby. It’s a pity it doesn’t have a bar but it has everything else you need. I really enjoy staying here.

Stunning property with absolutely SUPERIOR service. I had an issue with the conditions of my balcony and the staff's reaction and care in solving the problem should be set as an example to others. Bravi!!!

Great location. Nice lobby and spa floor. Remainder of hotel is somewhat drab, particularly for the price point and star rating. Rooms are nice but a bit underwhelming. Check-in staff was friendly but fairly unaccommodating when issues arise - my wife was not allowed to check in without me (I was on a plane) unless the reservation was changed to her name and she used her own payment methods. A bit surprising to say the least. Nothing to make up for the inconvenience. The Fairmont Pacific Rim looks beautiful for appx the same price.

The hotel staff was beyond exceptional- very helpful and friendly. They recommended a restaurant for lunch and advised the restaurant to expect us and when we arrived we received great seats, a special little treat from the chef- made us feel great! Rooms were very clean.gym incredible and nice pool.

My first time visiting the shangri-la and definitely won’t be my last! Everything from check in to check out was perfect. Not one room for error

Unlike other Shangri-La locations, this stay felt very corporate and impersonal. I had hoped for more when celebrating my 40th birthday at a trusted brand.

Staff are friendly and welcoming, although celebrating my 40th birthday here did not live up to expectations.m

I like everything about the property. It’s excellent including the location. We’ll come here again.

Excellent hotel

It would have been preferred that the room would’ve been cleaner. We are Vancouver residents who regularly stay in 5 star hotels, but for a price tag as large as this one I was expecting a little bit more out of my stay. My room was not as clean as I would have hoped, nor was the pool, filled with leaves, and even shells and some bugs. This was our first stay at the Shangri La but I have heard good reviews from peers of mine so I’m sure this was a once off, I’d maybe consider revisiting but some time down the line as it was a little bit of a let down.

Staff checking in had zero discretion in front of my guest. Made it sound like I was there regularly. We have a 2lb baby Pomeranian that almost choked on multiple things from under the bed. The underside was full of ointment bottles. Krazy glue bottle. Tiny samples from other hotels At least when we told in advance we had a small dog with us someone could have checked the room for hazards. #702. Very loud street noise

Exceptional in every way. Staff were among the best overall of any stay in 20+ years of 5 star hotel experiences!
