I love the County Hotel have stayed there many times. Fabulous friendly staff. The lunch menu is varied and delicious and the breakfast is great with local ingredients. You are made to feel so welcome. We stayed in room two which was lovely, with a fab bathroom. Only problem I found as someone with arthritis is the quite deep 3 stairs leading to that particular room. I think a small handrail would be helpful. Also what happened to complementary water in the room? Apart from that I would recommend The County 100%. Well done everyone.

1st class , ideally located , spotless clean , excellent room

Lovely hotel, nice greeting on arrival and parked right outside for free (it was a Sunday). We had room 6, good size, as was the bathroom & lots of coffee, tea etc. we ate in the hotel which was good and had a few drinks in there. The room was warm but it was during the hot weather and a fan had been provided. Good choice of breakfast as well. We loved it and would recommend it if you’re heading to Hexham!

Lovely clean room in an amazing an interesting place. Staff were quick and ready to help. Both my partner and I had a wonderful stay.

The hotel/Pub was fine. I had a good nights sleep and the staff were very friendly.

Some hotels are dog tolerant but this hotel is truly dog friendly & they thought of everything to make our stay as great as possible. The bed & showers were better than some we’ve had in 5* hotels and the staff were all so nice & friendly, couldn’t do more for your you as guests. Will be back!

Rooms were large, spotless and comfortable, staff were all friendly and helpful, evening food looked and smelt gorgeous, we only had the breakfast which was ample and well made. Will definitely bem staying there again. Thank You

Lovely overnight stay. Ideal location for all town centre amenities. Room very clean and comfortable. Staff were all really friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast, cooked to order. Highly recommend.

Absolutely excellent from check in to check out. Spotlessly clean, lunch very good, breakfast superb, best we've had in years. Everything thought off & a comfy bed. Staff were wonderful, helpful & very friendly. Great value for money too. Would highly recommend & can't wait to stop again.
