Very good option for a pub/small hotel stay in the Borders. Particularly good food offer: definitely not just pub grub.

Everything really good - except maybe our room could have been bigger but bathroom facilties very good and extra bonus of TWO working EV chargers for overnight charging.

Absolutely amazing hospitality in such a beautiful and tranquil location overlooking the green in the village food was excellent breakfast was filling with endless fresh coffee it’s so rural and quiet no need for earplugs at this lovely accommodation highly recommend and definitely be back again thanks steve

Return stay. Stayed here many times over the last few years, always a warm and friendly welcome, good service, good food and nice rooms. Also, good for business travellers, breakfast available from 7.30, unlike so many country hotels. The Wheatsheaf is ideally positioned for me to travel out in whatever direction my work takes me.

Clean, well appointed, very comfortable room, bar and dining room. Easy and safe to park. Brilliant staff, so helpful and accommodating
