The room was cosy and clean. Everything is fine including the bellman (very good service and friendly)
However, the most disappointing experience was with the guy (didn’t get his name, middle aged man, on duty on 3rd Sept evening). I requested for kettle and his response was the hotel doesn’t have enough kettle to offer to us. He added by saying that the kettle are currently all used up by other hotel guests who are staying for a couple of nights. Doss that means I am not a paying customer? I am not entitled to the basic amenities(kettle)?
He offered to give me a cup of hot water from the bar after I questioned him if the kette would be available for me the next day. His colleague (a young man) who was beside him immediately laughed upon hearing me. It was a spontaneous reaction by the young man probably he didn’t expect that I challenged the middle aged staff by asking about the possibility to get the kettle the next day. It is pretty very obvious that the mentioned staff didn’t want to provide us with the kettle (not sure why, maybe against us Asian). Offering a cup of hot water was ridiculous as I am staying with my family and that doesn’t solve the issue. We bumped into the bellman right after that and the bellman managed to get the kettle for us. So, it is untrue that the kettle was not available! It is very disappointing! Please respond to me and I demand a service recovery!
