First impressions were not good. We arranged for late checkin, a key was to be left in a coded key box. On arrival just after midnight, very tired, there was no key in the keybox, and no-one to answer the phone. No-one answered the door. Luckily we found a member of staff purely by chance, when we saw a downstairs light on at the back of the property. Rooms at first appear dated, but they are individual in style and actually more appealing than a modern and boring standard Travelodge. Comfortable bed. The pool was a welcome facility in the sunshine. The hotel is about 500m from George Clooneys villa - the hotel is in a good location, 15mins drive from Como with good views across the lake. Cannot comment on dining as we were room only. We would stay again, but arrive before check in closes!

The family running it was very nice and the food at dinner time was fantastic.

It's a good location in Laglio, as I was there for a wedding. So, good if you are there for specific reasons, an event, business. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are wonderful. This is not a property you will be spending time in. You need to walk or taxi to do anything. The breakfast is basic, and enough to meet your morning hunger.

Several of the other reviews seemed unnecessarily harsh. For the location, which is an expensive area, this is a fine hotel for the price. It was very clean, the owners and workers were nice and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was good. They cooked for us one night even though we were the only ones there. The balcony views of the lake and mountains were amazing. But the road noise is for real, especially during rush hour, but calms down a lot past 7pm. Maybe bring some ear plugs if you are concerned, but it is worth the sacrifice for the view!

I was afraid to touch things because it looked like it hadn't been cleaned or wiped in years. The floor mat had stains on it. The sheets did smell washed and looked clean Hair dryer didn't work. Shower had was wonky - calcified head so the water sprayed in directions it wasn't meant to & the water pressure was low because the head was probably worn out. Not a great location. Even for the view. Lake view is literally everywhere in como stay somewhere else for yes same price that's cleaner and skip on the lake view

Really lovely stay, would recommend to everyone amazing pool, amazing view, great restaurant, has parking, room was recently refurbed with a new bathroom. Would stay again!

The place had a very beautiful view with the lake. The patio of the restaurant was very nice nice. The room and the bed was better than I expected. They had a parking. The breakfast was not very impressive.

A quiet out of the way hotel, perfect for a pit stop between destinations if you want to brag about being at Lake Como whilst juggling getting home fast but also needing a stopover that is quiet. (Out of season) 2 very good restaurants within 1/4 mile, I cannot comment on this hotels food as we didn’t dine here. The stunning view of the lake from the room is worth paying the little extra for. The staff are super friendly.

Parking was great, very easy and on property. The rooms and building need refurbishment. The mattress was bad and you could feel every spring in it. The tub and tile were painted and the paint was peeling and would clog the shower drain cover while you shower. Peeling wall paper in the hall. Just small things that need to be upgraded and this hotel would be so much better.

Beautiful balcony view of Lake Como from their restaurant. But we didn’t have a view from our personal room. The beds aren’t very comfortable either and the rooms could use a bit of updating. Their hotel pool is nice too. The hotel got the job done for us but wasn’t our favorite.

The ròom was cleaned regularly and stsff were friendly and helpful. Our glight was dellayed so if we had not had relatives staying we would not have been able to check in after 11pm so someghknv to thknk of when booking flights . Breakfast was contknental but drinks were good and not to pricy. Views were good and towels for pool use road was busy outside

Very polite owners. Good parking, wonderful dining room and terrace that overlooks the lake.

The hotel was easy to find and had lovely views over Lake Como - but the busy road is between the hotel and the Lake which made the rooms noisy for most of the night. We paid for a family room so had plenty of space. The staff were very helpful, and the restaurant was quite good. There is a small pool with amazing views and we had it to ourselves on several mornings which was a real bonus. Walking down into Laglio was pleasant apart from the first 100m or so along the busy road with no pavements.Quite a steep climb back upto the hotel. There is a bus service that stops outside.

What a great place overlooking Lake Como. Fabio & Moreno who are the owners were fantastic people. If you want a real old world Italian experience this is the place for you. Restaurant had very good food.
