The hotel itself is quite nice. Interesting building and right on a main canal. The room was fine; basic but clean. Staff was lovely and very helpful! The location wasn't our favorite. It is a convenient walk to most tourist locations and other areas, but there is a high concentration of "coffeeshops" (dispensaries) right along that road and we found the area to be pretty dirty & we tired of the constant smell from the "coffeeshops".

Great room within walking distance of a lot of things in Amsterdam. Nice size rooms and very comfortable beds.

The hotel was picture perfect. From the moment we checked in with German, until our check out, the hotel was wonderful. German treated all of us so graciously and honestly his customer service was impeccable.

AMAZING staff and hotel! We stayed at the top which was daunting at first when we saw the stairs but the VIEW!! The view was incredible. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They genuinely seemed to care about how our stay was going. They also helped bring the luggage up and down as some of those flights were pretty steep! This hotel felt very secure as well. 10 out of 10 will stay here again when I visit Amsterdam again!

This hotel is exploding with charm! The staff warmly greeted us and said hello during our times going in and out of the hotel. Being in one of the “dancing houses” of Amsterdam was a real trip. The furniture could use a refresh and we recommend better toiletry amenities, but the beds/sheets were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a room overlooking the canal. The room was clean and quite spacious. The hotel was convenient to restaurants. The hotel staff spoke English and let us check in a bit early. I would recommend.

Very cool, old hotel with quirks that you can only find in old European cities. The staff were kind and the beds were comfortable. The stairs were a bit difficult to manage and rather dangerous. There is a great cafe next door. The location can’t be beat.

Property was a bit tired... not quite what it looked like on Hotels.com... Location was excellent! This hotel is actually part of a landmark (the dancing houses), they should advertise that.

Great location! 3 comfortable beds for family travel. Nothing fancy but everything you need, sizaeable room. Up on second floor on back side was surprisingly quiet

Much older then on pictures but bed was comfortable (my partner didn’t like big pillows). Toilet is in good condition but no heating inside. Much smaller room than on pictures.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable! Highly recommend staying here.

Very steep stairs without help to bring bags up or down..ended up takin only overnight bags upstairs. Olga was very nice but for some reason was unable to call airport re baggage peoblem when i was having difficulty with my phone..other than that curious issue she was very nice and helpful..definitely sympathetic about my baggage snarl..she called cabs..gave directions and suggestions about area to visit..the room wasnice and we had no problem with street noise.

We loved our stay here! We stayed here for 3 nights in the canal view room and it was well worth it. Beautiful view. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Good location

Nice historical hotel across from canal. Appreciated the secure doors especially at night. The Irish pub near by was wonderful with live entertainment. Around the corner nice square with many dining options! The reception staff are very helpful !!

We stayed in a basement family room (family of 4). It was clean and spacious. The beds were so comfortable! The staff is very friendly. Location is great. Very walkable but the trolley is right there too. Lots of dining and shopping options nearby.

Very old. Toilet flush does not work well. Rooms are very dark. No AC.

Gorgeous hotel! So cute! A/C was an unexpected luxury as well. We found the room to be quiet and very comfortable.
