A good stay. Nice quite Hotel. Friendly and efficent staff. Getting older and could have done with a grab handle to get out of the shower which has a high step. Breakfast is adequate and well presented.

Nice smaller place. Great breakfast and excellent service.

The bathroom only had body wash . It would have been nice to have (body wash, shampoo and conditioner). Great location, a 15min walk to trains.

I really want to like this place more. The garden and lobby are comfortable. However, the there are some things that were not so great. The biggest was that I had no water in the morning for a shower. This may have been due to my room being on the top floor and the hotel being fully-booked. The plumbing may have been struggling to get water up to the top floor when everyone in the hotel was taking a shower. Between 7:30-10 am the water would start as a trickle and drop to zero in a few minutes. I mean no water at all. When I mentioned this to the receptionist, she just shrugged. When I mentioned to the manager he said he would call the plumber. Nothing changed during my weeklong stay. I switched to showering in the evening and it was plenty of hot water then. So if you choose to stay here, consider getting a room on a lower floor. Otherwise, it is a charming hotel. But if the water system cannot handle a full hotel, then perhaps the hotel should have fewer rooms.

A great location! And the back garden is a lovely spot to sit after a long day of walking around. Sometimes the street can be a bit noisy late at night, but that just confirms that it is a lively area.

Great location. Close to trams and u bahn. Great eateries in the neighbourhood. Hotel tell is looking a little worn in places but has character. I would stay here again.

Room was good. But it was really ridiculous that they didn't clean the room once in 4 days of stay. Sorry, that is unacceptable for that price.

A nice little, well run, friendly hotel which has had a major revamp in the last couple of years. The designer perhaps went OTT with a mini parked in the middle of a compact bar but whatever, they’ve given it a go and the rooms are a major upgrade. It’s a good place and very good value.

Loved the garden. Front rooms were very loud with street noise.

Good location and very comfortable. Only thing was we weren't told before eating breakfast that there was a charge. Aside from that, everything went well!

We loved the staff esp.Frau Schmidt ,Herr Berger and breakfast lady...darling woman... The Wi-Fi is a big problem in the hotel.it barley worked every time we wanted to use it ,you had to go through all the check ins again until it worked or mostly didn’t.we stayed in numerous hotels in Europe and this one needs to do something about about Wi-Fi.My husband worked on a project and needed Wi-Fi daily . We stayed in room 26 .

The hotel is convenient to the subway and a number of shops restaurants and bars. Staff are very helpful. Rooms cosy and warm with two single beds and an ensuite. The rooms were cleaned every day . The reception area doubles as the bar and is fairly small. There is 24 hour reception facilities.

If you need to have an internet for your work their system is arcance and does not work. I was constantly logging onto one of their 6 differrent address. They treat internet access like its so complicated. You have to give them a written paper with your address and they give you back a written code which in my case did not work and I was there 3 days. They gave 3 codes in all that never worked and acess kept dropping. Frustrating experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions and accommodating our needs. The breakfast was great with a nice selection and the option to have other things made like scrambled eggs. The building was well taken care of and in good condition. The room was very basic, but clean and everything we needed. There was a bit of street noise through the window (trash trucks and sirens). The location was very convenient to transportation, sightseeing and great pedestrian areas. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.
