The location was very easy to get to from the train station and to the airport waterbus, as well as close to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square. The room was not as pictured with less space and missing a bed. The room also had ants.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The staff were wonderful and we loved the style/aesthetic of the hotel. Plan on staying here again if we ever return.

Unique property in the heart of the district. Quaint, historical decor. Still even uses the antique skeleton keys to lock your room. Loved it.

Hotel Al Vagon is absolutely charming! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The staff is friendly, helpful and provided great restaurant recommendations. Hotel Al Vagon is perfectly located with lovely restaurants, cafes and a gondola stop just steps away. It’s a short walk to the Rialto Bridge and transit stop making it very easy to navigate the beautiful city of Venice. If a charming, old world style hotel overlooking a canal is the experience you are looking for, this is your hotel!

The location was great. Pillows and hair dryer needs to be updated. Shower is extremely small. Loved having the little market around the corner and lots of options for food. I was looking for clean, safe and location and it checked all those points.

Hotel was clean but quite outdated. Staff very helpful. Bathrooms very small. Someone above us was very loud dragging chairs on floor. This is just good enough to rest your head at night.

Nicely located. Easy access to everything. Excellent window to keep the street noice down but no match to the daily garage removal noises that start around 6:30 & last till 8am. No issues for early risers. Early start is great.

we love the hotel, even that it was for 1 night my family and I got in love with the place. I really recommended it!

When we arrived the person on the door seemed grumpy - I’d had problems before we even arrived because, even though my receipt said “ pay on arrival” he cancelled our booking and I had to rebook it through Expedia. He barely spoke to us. Our room was in an annexe down a dark and dingy alleyway and up a lot of stair - I’m disabled. The room itself was ok. No waste bin in the bedroom, only the bathroom. However, the location was very good and central.

Basic hotel and a basic room. Loved the locality and quite close to Rialto bridge. Highly accessible to airrport water taxi stop. Good front desk service. Room was bad for the price, but we are in Venice and in Cannregio. Room had a bit of a unconfortable smell.

Clean room, Venetian style, nice staff, older building and no elevator.

Very basic hotel, but exactly what we were looking for! Great location, AC was excellent and modern.
