Spacious room, large bathroom & very high cleanliness standards

The hotel is under restoration and we could not see out of the windows because of sheets of plastic. Workers started at 830 on scaffolding so drapes needs to be closed. No the usual and not great.

Apon checking in the the hotel, we discovered the hotel was under renovations, , the whole hotel was covered in scaffolding and plastic sheeting, so we were unable to open our window or look out of the window,

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was large with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good every morning. The location was good. It was only a six minute walk from the L2 Tram from the airport. It was also about an eight minute walk to the promenade de Anglais. Niece is beautiful with a lot of elegant buildings. If I come again, I would be quite happy staying at hotel Villa Victor Hugo.

The hotel was bright and clean with friendly, hospitable staff. We were nicely welcomed upon arrival and offered helpful assistance. Breakfast, too, was delicious. It is easy to navigate as a pedestrian from this location.

The staff is lovely! L’équipe est formidable! This is a modest impeccable charming modern hotel in a lovely peaceful residential area perfectly situated between the train station and the Promenade des Anglais.

On the night of my arrival on a freezing night in January the hotel did not have heat in the building! After flying for over 15 hours I had the most unpleasant freezing night I ever had in my life! They were unable to fix the heat until next day because “it was national holiday “ or offer a portable heater. I had send multiple emails to management asking for a refund for that night but was mostly ignored and told by someone that they gave me a 15e free breakfast as apology ☹️

Nice big room. Air conditioning does not go lower than 22C in the room. Bed and pillows quite firm. Breakfast just right

Wonderful staff, wonderful stay!

Not as good as we'd been led to expect. It was disheartening to turn up and find hoarding around the hotel door and scaffolding covering most of the front (including 2 of our rooms). In other circumstances I've been warned before arrival. No heating in two of the rooms for 3 out of 4 nights was bad and no compensation offered.

Great room, very clean. Good choices at breakfast. Excellent location
