I stayed here in late October 2019. I was traveling with my husband and sister and brother-in-law. We are in our early 60’s. We were on a cruise that ended in Venice. I had emailed the hotel to ask how to get there. I got a very detailed reply and we found the hotel very easily. It was a flat, (no bridges to cross), five minute walk from the water bus stop. As we each had large suitcases this was great. We arrived in the morning and were greeted by the owners and were told our rooms were ready. We were given maps of Venice with the hotel’s information on them. We were shown the locations of a few nearby restaurants.
The rooms were very spacious and clean. The security was good and we felt totally safe in the area. Even though it was late October, we were able to sit out on the open veranda in the daytime. The hotel was very quiet at night. The breakfast was basic but adequate. The only limitation was that the only gluten-free option was yogurt. We had known this ahead of time though.
Walking to all the sites in Venice was easy and getting back to the hotel through the labyrinth of lanes was made easier by the fact that the hotel is located near the only hospital in Venice. We just had to look for the hospital signs or ask people to direct us to the hospital!
All of us agreed that we would stay here again if ever we were in Venice.
