Walking distance to the centre of the town, friendly staff and just "easy"

Mostly great, we had problems with the safe though, it lost our code twice, and we had to have them open it

Perfect spot that is walking distance to everything and the altstadt. The location and room was great! Only thing I can say is it was quite hot in the room because of the weather that day and the AC didn’t help too much.

Great location near downtown and the funicular up to Schlossberg. Nice staff. Lobby was accessible for group gatherings.

A charming efficient clean well run Hotel with lovely staff and a amazing breakfast. Bit of a walk from the station but near all of Freiburgs attractions. I'll definitely stay here again when I come back to Freiburg .

Excellent location on the edge of the old town and right next to the funicular up to Schlossberg. Rooms are very modern and well kept, plus parking is safe and secure in the hotel grounds for €12.

I stayed 1 extra night and the hotel charged more than double than the rate from hotels.com. Experience was disappointed

Good location. Decent breakfast buffet. I obtained an upgrade due to overbooking but the room was next the to stairway and less comfortable than expected. Overall experience was positive though.

I booked a room in this hotel as a bit of a treat for the night and intended on ralaxing and watching some TV after a good adventure around Freiburg (beautiful city). Unfortunately the room didn't have a TV remote, staff couldn't find a spare so I was stuck with one German channel which I couldn't understand. Completely pointless, room felt more like a prison cell, ruined the stay and I checked out much earlier than initially planned.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Close to the center with Christmas markets.
