Varied selection of cereals, pastries, salad, meats, eggs etc for continental breakfast

I stayed at Hotel Bella Venezia for four nights in April 2026 and had a great experience. Martina at the front desk was a delight to talk to and was extremely helpful with answering any questions that my travel partner and I had. The room was ready upon arrival despite it being hours before the official check-in time and was clean and well-lit. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of fresh and high quality items. The central location was also great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Venice.

A really lovely hotel, in the centre of Venice. It was in a great location and within walking distance of all the main attractions. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby as well. Staff were able to offer recommendations and help regarding places to eat. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly throughout our 6 day stay. Nothing was too much trouble, for example, giving us a map to explain where the water bus stops were, as we wanted to go to Murano. Every member of staff was polite and keen to help us enjoy our holiday. We had a huge room with a canal view; there was a well equipped bathroom with a shower and a bath; we had a fridge/mini bar and a seating area. There was a large selection of food available for breakfast and we enjoyed a long and leisurely breakfast every morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Excellent breakfast, but tiny room compared to the similar hotels we stayed at in Florence and Rome. Antiquated bathroom but generally okay.

Staff was great, the hotel should be a 2 or 3. Very old. Has a weird smell. The 3rd bed which we paid extra for you could feel every single springs so we had to put 3 in a bed. Great location though. But for nearly $500 a night not good at all. Should have been around $100

Stars in a suite. Bed was comfortable, bathroom large for euro standards and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had variety and left us satisfied.

Great location is the top Comment. Very close to stop in water bus (vaporetto) and a quick walk to St. Mark’s square (in a nearly straight line for the directionally challenged. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and had all the basics. Church bells ring nearby which is part of the Venice experience so just be aware. Good selection at breakfast but room is very crammed at peak (around 8). Sadly a few very rude guests but staff maintained composure.

Very cute hotel close to St. Mark's Square! Friendly service. Breakfast was great.

The location is amazing - less than 3 minutes from St. Marks Square. The hotel overlooks the canal and is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. My room size was fine and it felt quaint and Venetian. It had very amenity I needed. The breakfast was excellent and all staff very friendly. I appreciated being given a cappuccino when I was working in the lobby / bar area one morning. There are also some areas on each floor to utilise if needed. I travel to Venice regularly so do hope to stay here again.
