From the moment you walk up to the hotel, you are met with the sweet small of jasmine and honeysuckle, fresh lemons growing, and the best hospitality from the owners. We felt completely safe in the area, and enjoyed an amazing dinner the owner recommended. All within walking distance of the townof Pompeii. Would go back again!

After 3 days in the hectic bustle of Rome, Pace was an oasis of tranquility and just what we needed before taking on the archeological park. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable and the hosts were really friendly and helpful. But the crowning glory is the garden which is beautifully tended and full of color and interest. A charming place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Thank you Nadia.

Great little hotel right in the centre. Really close to everything. Very comfortable bed and virtually no outside noise so a great sleep. Juliette balcony opening onto a lemon tree so wonderful smell from the blossom. Great little garden at the front. Nice Italian breakfast with delicious freshly made coffee a real treat. Our hosts Nadia and Cat were wonderful, really friendly and gave us great recommendations for local activities and restaurants.

Within walking distance of the train station and Pompeii; excellent service. An overall easy, no frills option at great value for a short stay. Would recommend it to friends.

We had a great one night stay to visit the ruins. Parking is very limited so check with them first. Breakfast was very simple. Was a great in town location with many restaurants within walking distance.

The location was convenient to see the ruins and accessible to the train station (quite literally down the street). The service was very good and having the breakfast buffet option was nice. A downside is that the shower is very small. Overall, a very nice stay.

It was amazing close to all the places that we went.

The room did not have a window just a slit at the top of the wall just big enough to let light in and wake you up very early. So disappointed with that as it was a bit cell like. The bathroom was a good size and clean. The decor in our room was tired.Nice helpful owners though, very friendly and a plus they will store your bags. Just check the room you are getting when you book to avoid disappointment

Very small hotel room that does not match the pictures. AC didn't work first. Very odd front desk hours. Breakfast isn't worth the price.

Top: "Albergo" is Italian for "Hotel". Look for a "Hotel Place" sign on the street - that's them (you won't see a sign for "Albergo Place"),

New managers of this hotel since April 2017 Nadia and Catello are working very hard upgrading the decor. Their friendliness and helpfulness is second to none. Trips and transfers can be arranged easily. This hotel is in a very convenient position in Pompeii for the excavations and also to travelling to Naples or along the Amalfi coast. We would definitely recommend this lovely gem of a hotel and shall return ourselves. Personal service guaranteed
