Lovely breakfast, hot and delicious

Room was cold, pillows very uncomfortable, lumpy and hard, clean and basis room. Didnt have breakfast, reception staff informative and helpful.

Very small room, bed against wall with no space for a bedside table. Tiny shower. Ok condition, lacks tlc.

Easy check in but dont arrive before 3pm as you cant check on earliy. The hotel was locked and opened at 3pm We stayed in room 16 on the second floor. Nice room masive king size bed. Good suply of coffee and tea. Breakfast is excellent good quality and lots of it. The breakfast room and bar are clean and inviting. Drinks are reasonably priced. Location is about 15 minute walk from the city centre. Taxi to the darts costs just over over £6. Very nice Italian and indian restaurant close.

Breakfast is extra so we didn't have that. The restaurant isn't open at all otherwise so we went to the Roma restaurant up the road. That was good.

Gem of a place! Gorgeous old building with high ceilings and plasterwork in the bar and breakfast rooms. Delicious cooked breakfast made to order. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great to have ample parking. Slept well as it was so quiet. Would definitely return if I wanted to visit the area again.
