Excellent place

We booked that hotel as we had a super early flight back to the U.K. the next day. The location is perfect with the petrol station next to the hotel to refuel the car, free car park and 10mins drive to return the vehicle at the airport terminal before check-in with Wizzair. So We literally only stayed there less than 10hrs. The room was a bit (a lot) dated but big. The bed was a super king size and very comfy. The bit we found sooooooo weird was the bathroom. It’s the first time in our lives we had a shower without curtains 😅 we tried to be super careful when we took our showers but not easy not to turn the bathroom into a pool 😅 Good thing we only stayed one night. The reception was very nice and offered us a packed breakfast because we couldn’t have it due to our early flight. It was nice to try some of the local pastries. Overall not a bad experience for just a few hours before returning home.

The hotel is very nice but very outdated. I was must upset after travelling a long way to find out I could not used the restruant because there was a wedding party and there was nowhere nearby to get food. Otherwise stay was very good.

The property is older, pieces in room falling apart. Clean though, friendly staff, breakfast was fine.

Enjoyed the pool very much. Didn’t like that the bar at the pool wasn’t always open. Didn’t like that there wasn’t any other restaurants near by to eat at.

The pool is a great attraction. Lots of lounges and a pool bar. Two out of the three in our party found the pillows in our room uncomfortable. Great air conditioning. The breakfast buffet would be improved by moister pastries, and a larger selection. The dining room interior is amazing! The Montecito is on a one way 3-4 lane road, and a sign to the entrance to the hotel facing the way we were coming from would have been appreciated (there is a very nice sign on a low wall facing away from oncoming traffic, so not very helpful when navigating a new city and trying to find the hotel).

Lovely hotel. Near to Sofia airport. Rooms very large with fridge. Please note no kettle & you can request a hairdryer at reception. Fantastic pool open 9am -7pm but it is a public pool and gets very busy at weekends with the locals. On site restaurant was lovely there are very limited amenities in the area. Taxi to sofia about £5. We had a great stay and will be back. If tou just want to relax by the pool its an excellent choice. Pool snack bar very cheap but english is very limited!
