Great setting with unique decor. Lots to see and explore inside and out. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms are small but cozy and clean.

Malfunctioning wifi, very small rooms, bad insulation. The location and surroundings are very beautiful. The room itself was very disappointing.

The lodge is in a beautiful setting on a small headland adjacent Middle Beach. There are trails through the woods & beach access. Our room had a balcony to sit & look at the ocean & we could listen to the waves on the beach at night. The in-lodge dining option was excellent!

I visited MBL over 20 years ago. Finally made it back and fell in love all over again! The lodge, the service, the location was just as I remembered! Stayed in one of the loft cabins and it was perfect amount of space and was very clean. Tofino is one of my favorite places on the west coast!

Overall a beautiful property right by the ocean. The building is a bit old and we had some spider webs throughout the room.

It was superb! The only way that this could’ve been better is if the weather didn’t warm. We’ll be back!

Rustic property surrounded by gorgeous coastal rain forest. Excellent customer service. Rooms were on the small side but comfy and lovely views. Lovely trail walk to Tofino.

Second time in the beach cabin suites, will be back again for sure. Gorgeous views, close by o food and shopping without being right in town.

A great experience staying at Middle Beach, the Headlands was a nice change from the Main Lodge. The 6 plex room had a small kitchenette, huge tub, separate bedroom and deck chairs outside to take in the view. A great storm watching place and extra special when the sun appears!

We have been going to Tofino for the past 11 years and this was our first time staying at MBL. What an absolute pleasure it was to stay there. Our room was amazing and the view was simply spectacular! The main lodge meeting area with its cozy fireplace was so welcoming. An extra huge bonus was the fact that the property has a generator which came in handy as the bomb cyclone that hit while we were there knocked out the power for 2 days all over the island. We will most definitely make this our new go to place to stay while in Tofino from now on.

We came during a major storm and the room we booked was in a section that didn't have power so we had to pay for an upgrade to a cabin as those had generator power. I understand that there were limited options given the storm and grateful that they could fit us in somewhere else but I was surprised that they hotel didn't call ahead of time to advise of our options (stay in a room without power or pay for an upgrade). Having said that, the cabin was very nice and it had a kitchen with peekaboo views of the ocean. It was very clean. The property is near trails to the beach. During low tide you could walk along middle beach to the tonquin trail into Tofino. If you come at night, it's very dark, and can be a bit tricky to find the correct building to checkin. Minimal signage and it's hard to see in the dark. The staff were nice.

It’s a beautiful resort perched on the edge of a rugged cliff between two gorgeous beaches. If you want quiet and to feel that you’re getting away from it all, this is it. The included breakfast is excellent - meats, cheeses, fruit, bread, etc. The rooms are small but comfortable; views are gorgeous if you’re facing the water. Note that if the power goes out, which happens occasionally in the fall/winter, the Beach Lodge building is NOT connected to the generator. I spent the first 24 hours in the dark; staff did offer to move me to the other building connected to the generator, but not without a $113 per night extra charge. Something to keep in mind.
