Stayed here only overnight for a trip to Fiesta Texas ( which was very close). The beds and pillows were the most comfortable of any hotel I can remember staying in. Our room was clean and quiet. We didn’t partake in any food here so I cannot comment on that. We were warned that if we park outside of the black iron gates that we WILL be towed. We got in around midnight and there was one VERY small spot left to squeeze into. This could be very problematic. I’m not sure what I could have done if there were no spots left. They have Crabtree and Evelyn shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as lotion on the wall in dispensers. It was nice. The shower took a while to figure out how to make it hot but eventually I got it. There is a lot of construction near but I didn’t hear any of it. We just had to navigate around the construction near the hotel on the freeways a lot which made finding this hotel a bit difficult but eventually the WAZE app got us here. They allowed me to check in about an hour early. I had overdone it already on roller coasters and really needed to lay down. I very much appreciate that they allowed me to do that. Check out was way, I just handed the lady the key cards and was on my way. I’d definitely stay here again.

Our room was spacious and lovely, but the service was not great. I normally don’t care about that on vacation, but the breakfast servers got everything wrong, and the front desk people randomly disappeared. I wanted to talk to them before checking out, but there was no one there for a while and a cleaning lady was yelling at me to not walk to the front of the desk where she had just cleaned, so I just left.

I was given a rate by Expedia that wasn’t five at checkout. Very disappointed. Price always matters most.

If you have a nice car, dont stay here. For this to be in The Rim/ La Canterra area, i was highly disapponted. Gated parking shared in a dmall parking lot of like 4 restaraunts that were after spots for the late night eaters was a huge red flag. Didnt help the srupid gates didnt lock. Swimming pool was big enoigh for 5 people to comfortably be in. The inside of entire hotel was extremely noce, including room and bathroom. Its like the hotel got picked up in a tornado like the Wizard of Oz and dropped in an awful area. I wont return which is very unfortunate cause i love Doubletree properties!

Everything was great, this hotel is our favorite eveytime we go to San Antonio, super clean, excellent servive and I love the smell. Only this time hair dryer didn’t work.

Had a great experience at this DoubleTree. Location is good and near Cantera, The Rim, Six Flags, etc. Staff was excellent, food was good and overall a nice hotel plus don't forget the cookies! I stayed for a week and don't have anything negative other than the pool could have been cleaner. Decent parking as well. Outside the hotel, lots of road/construction work but not too bad. Anyway, totally recommend it.

We have stayed here before and was not disappointed the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly, and the rooms are nice. I will say even though it didn’t happen to us a few vehicles were broke into the first night of our stay. I feel like they could have better security for the gated parking lots but that is a risk you take parking over night at hotels.

It was clean, smelled good, and staff was incredible. Will definitely stay here again.

This was an excellent hotel. It is affordable and they even throw in a free breakfast for every day. It is not a buffet, but you get to order off the menu. We were very pleased with our stay at the Doubletree Northwest.

Friendly clean atmosphere! The gate is not useful because one side stays open so anyone can park there. It’s right next to an apartment complex so that was a little different but I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

WORST STAY EVER! THEY DONT HAVE CAMERA SURVEILLANCE IN PARKING, THEY BROKE INTO MY TRUCK, STOLE MY LIGHTS AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE THE INCOMPETENT STAFF DID NOT HEL FOR ANYTHING!!!!! NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN, AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED IN YOUR SLEEP!!!! HALWAYS WERE SCORCHING HOT AS WELL, AC TOOK FOR EVER TO COOL UP THE AREA!!! HILTON HAS REALLY GONE DOWNHILL AND THAT IS EXTREMELY SAD!!!!
