Wow, what a resort and facilities and just a 10 minute walk up the road to the centre of Thira! We could not fault anything from start to finish during our stay and the free upgrade to a Superior Room was very gratefully received. Everything was within walking distance, restaurant, bars, multiple pools to choose from with some luxurious sun beds around some, including parasols. Rooms cleaned daily, including bedding and towels changed. Breakfast was excellent with so much to choose from. We particularly liked the resident cats which we saw 3 of who all appeared to be in good health and well fed. We would definitely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting and staying in Thira. Thank you for your service El Greco Resort!

We spent a week at the resort - its a beautiful, luxurious & relaxing space. Everything was brilliant from start to finish. Location was perfect, only a short walk to Fira and lovely views of the caldera. Extremely clean and very well presented rooms. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Theodore, the manager, who was very helpful, polite and made our stay very special - the hospitality was top notch. I would highly recommend this resort.

Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful. Location was great! I’m taking one star away for breakfast and that none of the pools had optimal temperature so was hard to take a dip.

They should have done more vegetarian food.

Clean rooms. Clean resort. Great facilities. Very close to Fira. We would walk more than once per day to the city and back. Very well located.

This is a tranquil hotel. It is very well located in a great spot of the island. The staff is very kind and the pools and common areas are very well maintained. A short walk to Fira makes it a very good location. Highly recommend.

All good! Maybe a bit more green and colored trees and flowers would have been nicer to look around !

This place is very clean and beautiful. Located close from bus stops and the town of Fira. Has many pools and they were clean. They also have a great options for the breakfast. Rooms were clean and big for our family of 4. Would recommend this property to everyone.

The property was pristine and lovely. It was the staff that was the issue, right from check-in every single staff member whether or not it was the front desk the pool bar, housekeeping, restaurants, I felt like they were doing a favour when it came to service. I found money to be very very short on borderline rude with interactions, it was very offputting. This was the last stop on our Greece trip so it was unfortunate.

Such a nice property with upgraded rooms. so many clean and big pools. Breakfast spread was awesome. The staff was always helpful. They even upgrqded our room to the poolside one in the middle of the stay. At welcome they gave us all the information about the island with a map and recommended all the nice places, and various options on how to get there. The property is 5 min walk to Fira main town. I'll recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a luxury stay.

Lovely property. Stayed here after a friend recommended it. Close to walking to Fira and lots of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was included and was very nice. We checked out before breakfast hours and we were offered a to go snack breakfast (requested a ride to the airport the day before and staff so kindly offered a breakfast to go.)

Great resort, good location

Second stay at this fabulous hotel. We had room 114 both times as its right by the tiny pool making it feel very private and quiet. Food is lovely and very reasonably priced, rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff are so helpful
