Had a 4 night stay, great front desk staff. Location is unbeatable. Our attic-room had cute character, was dated and carpet looked dingy. I know it's an older hotel. Only the area where the AC is located would stay cool. Overall it's convenient and we would stay here again.

The first room we were shown had a 20-year-old mattress and box spring - the date had been written on the tag and, boy howdy, did they look it! When I asked for another room I was first told there were no others available. When I told the clerk I wanted to cancel my reservation, we were given other room. This mattress and the linens were up to date and clean as was the bathroom. The rug is old and tired. The view was lovely. The air conditioning (which was much needed with 90 degree+ days!) kept the room cool but damp. There were a couple other minor things that needed repair. Staff were polite. In all, it was fine. You could not ask for a better location if you want to be in the midst of Strasbourg's tourist center.

Just went nearby for breakfast. We loved the view, if you don't care about the view, get a room near the trams.

Hugely busy for the Christmas markets but in a fantastic location. We were there at the beginning of December 2025. Directly opposite the cathedral. So Wonderful photo opportunities. About a 20 minute walk from the station through the traffic free roads so a good introduction to the city of Strasbourg

I understand it is a very old building but I have stayed at other hotels that is very old as well and they make an effort to make you feel comfortable and not "OLD" and "dungy" and musky.

Unbeatable view of the cathedral from our room and the breakfast room. Breakfast is very affordable and delicious. Bed was extremely comfortable but the room is definitely on the small side - they do make great use of space. As other reviews have noted there is a spiral staircase from the ground floor to the first floor and then an elevator but there was a very nice staff member that assisted us with our bags. Easy baggage check so we could continue exploring after checkout. Amazing location for Christmas markets.

The location right next to the Cathedral is unbeatable and the staff are kind and friendly. It's a lovely little boutique hotel with character - beams, higgley-piggledy staircases. Charming! Our new bathroom was fantastic with a great shower and 2 large sinks. We loved our stay here!

Staff was extremely rude and told me to leave the property and find a different place to stay on a Friday night during Christmas market busy period, They told me very rudely to stay somewhere else as they saw my younger kid with me and were not ready to give me the room. They made me pay 200 Euros in addition on the spot in order to let me stay even after paying such a huge amount for reserving the room in the first place. We were helpless and paid the money else we had no where else to go. I want my full refund

This hotel is located in one of the most beautiful squares i have ever visited. the view of the cathedral is immense! The location is just so convenient, although busy during the Christmas markets it was just perfect! The room was small but clean, cosy, and very warm. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we came back to Strasbourg. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the lcoation is what made this hotel 5 stars!
