Needs a full refresh on rooms, not luxury at all!

Draft leaking door on room causing a whistling sound all night and could smell diesel smell.

The trash can by the elevator was never emptied or would have given 5 star

Pros: Nice view from room. Quiet stay on the 10th floor. Very good ribeye steak. Cons: Shower head was dripping and kept us up all night; mirror in bathroom had lots of water spots. Server at dinner forgot our side of potatoes and we kept trying to get his attention but he was handling many tables. Overall, it seemed they were short staffed in dining and cleaning areas. Also, we had to walk around the building from the parking lot in the back in the rain because the doors were locked.

Sharon was very accommodating for our trip. The amenities are perfect and the rooms immaculate.

Fast check-in and friendly front desk. Room clean and comfortable. It is starting to show its age in the bathroom.

Nice hotel but not as snazzy as I anticipated. The real problem that we encountered was them losing my reservation and swearing that I never made it. Even after finding it, they continued to lose it numerous times, including checkout. They also didn’t offer any type of breakfast or even coffee in the morning. I was extremely disappointed with that situation. The rooms were clean and nice and most of the staff were friendly. Except for the reservation snafu and no coffee, the visit was okay.

Good option always, convenient location, great staff, but rooms need a long due overhaul/ all rooms outdated.

The hotel manager leaves at 5 pm therefore if you need to address the apparent under staffing at check-in, you're out of luck. We mentioned to the staff 3 times that our room had not been clean. They never cleaned it. They didn't asked how the stay was. The club lounge on 14th floor had a delightful attendant named RJ. Hopefully the hotel will get sold to better management m

You really don't need a rental car in Lubbock, Uber/Lyft very affordable, everything is in close proximity to this Hotel, great location and atmosphere.

New management was very noticeable from the beginning. I’ve stayed there many of times always enjoyed being close, nice hotel & great breakfast but my last experience was not the same by far. Was told when I checked in that I had to pay parking for every day I was there which was 5 days & was told by the front desk it was a new rule by new management. I also was told I didn’t have a choice & it was too late for me to cancel of course because it was the day of. Then I was told my room wasn’t cleaned because my own personal blanket was on the bed & youll couldnt touch it. I went down to have breakfast & oh my word you'lls breakfast has even changed with new management. The service wasn’t good took me 20 minutes for a cup of coffee & the grits tasted like something I can’t even explain. I hate to be a “Karen” as this younger generation calls it but unfortunately if new management can’t come close to the last management you’ll will loose business.
