The hotel was very busy due to the IRONMAN, but staff were professional, especially in the face of checking out guests on Monday 22/9 discovering there was a train and public transport strike, that, shout out to Vanessa, she dealt with frantic guests stranded for getting to Bologna airport for travelling home in a calm and professional manner. They don’t have enough kettles for rooms, I would say, we could only have one on the last 2 days of our 7 day stay. The only staff member who I found disconcerting , was the cream jacketed breakfast room male, who came up to me on the first morning and said “you make only breakfast “ I had nothing in my hands, and hadn’t even found a table . That was insulting but I chose not to mention in the moment because I wanted to just get on with my stay.

Comfortable and close to beach, many restaurants and stores.

It was a wonderful hotel to stay at. It was near the beach and a great place to walk for exercise. It was off season, so it was not busy with people. Great views, great restaurants and had a lovely meal. The breakfast was included and was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very friendly and professional.

Great hotel - especially as it was close to the Iron MaN START LINE.

Although it was after the summer season we were surprised how quiet the hotel and area was. The Universal in made up to two differently designed parts joined by a central lobby and uppper floor restaurant so it has different lifts going to different parts. Staff were really friendly and always very helpful. There is an underground garage (chargeable), as well as street parking but we had our car parked in the sister hotel across the side street. There are not many restaurants to eat at close by other than the hotel but a short drive takes you up to the marina / harbour area and centre of Cervia where there is a far wider choice. The hotel is a great central location for travelling around the area as well as being right across from the beach but it does not have any private area although ample options exist. Swimming pool is heated and was fantastic, as was the jaccuzi. Again ample loungers by the pool and umbrellas for shade. We were there with breakfast included which again was extensive and covered every option - really impressive. Rooms were smaller than some but typical of area and for age of hotel.No room safe and limited english TV channels if that is required. All in all an excellent Italian rated 4 star hotel which I would consider returning to if I was in the area.

We loved the staff - always helpful . The hotel itself was nice, pool good, rooms clean - a little small. Great location and I would stay there again.

Trevlig personal, bra service och fint städat. Hotellet ligger precis vid stranden och har en fin pool. Det är nära till allt men dock väldigt gammaldags stil och hotellet skulle behöva en renovering. Men bra hotell för en billig peng!

e stato solo un pernotto ,in quanto ero impegnato in attività che non mi hanno permesso altro che il chek-in , colazione e chek-out, ma sono stati all'altezza delle aspettative.

Hotel bello, servizio ottimo, colazione fantastica. Posizione ottima. Dovrebbe investire per aggiornare la struttura che in alcune cose è un po' datata.

hotel piacevole sul lungomare di Cervia .. diciamo pero' che è un po' retro' ... una rimodernatina gli farebbe bene .. Comunque bello , ottima posizione ...ristoranti proprio di fronte

La camera, spaziosa, aveva una bella vista sul mare con balconcino. Colazione buonissima. Piscina top! Unica pecca, servizio car valet un po' superficiale.

Nice hotel and good location. They should just add some vegan options for breakfast, you can find Bread, Jam, Fruit, Pastry, but nothing salty except walnuts.

La struttura è comoda al lungomare di Cervia e raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione di Cervia M.M. con passeggiata di 30 minuti circa. La camera dispone di cassaforte.

Struttura pulita in generale un po’ vecchia ma confortevole. A due passi dalla spiaggia quindi molto comoda

Bella struttura, accogliente, pulita, tutti molto disponibili, comodissima per chi ama il mare e la spiaggia, colazione abbondante, varia e di qualità, personale molto attento e sempre sorridente. Mi sono trovata molto bene

La nostra camera era nella zona "vecchia". Bagno non altezza di un 4 stelle, piccolo e con doccia minuscola. Ottima colazione e personale molto disponibile e cortese. Bella piscina

Stanze molto piccole, arredi datati, bagno vecchio. Comunque molto pulito e comodo come posizione ma parcheggio non disponibile per tutti (meglio prenotare). Ottima colazione. Costo eccessivo per il livello dell’hotel.
