Great parador in an amazing place

Amazing location and beautiful hotel. Úbeda is definitely worth visiting. Bed was comfortable and room was a good size. Front desk staff were very helpful, I forgot my charger and they provided a spare.

Lovely building great staff but very difficultctovgetcto . Cannot be reached by car.problems with internet connections and shower the didn’t work

Beautiful building but I did not sleep well as the soundproofing between my room and the room above was not good. Also, workmen started bashing noisily in the courtyard at 8am. It was disappointing, given the price.

Delightful parador that just enabled us to pause and reflect on our travels in Spain away from the madding crowds.

The air-conditioning was very poor for a superior room. The staff were helpful and suggested another room but for one night we didnt want to pack & unpack again. They should not of put us in that room in the first place. The room furnitiure was antique and lovely though.

Close to the heart of town, yet quiet and peaceful. Conveniently located to places of attraction

I think the staff here are cold. Not approachable or helpful. Other than that, the parador is a lovely place to stay and Ubeda is a pretty town. Everything is closed on Monday so plan your stay accordingly.

Edificio espectacular. Habitación de tamaño correcto aunque necesita reforma. No esperes una habitación moderna y con comodidades, porque no lo es, pero no está mal. Ubicación perfecta si vas de paseo o turismo. Un detalle que no comprendo es que no te den una miserable botella de agua gratis, cosa que en otros paradores si dan. Personal agradable.

Magic Renaissance environment which makes you feel in the 16th century

This was a classic difference of style over substance hotel stay whereas my wife really likes old historical hotels that portray a history, whereas i much prefer a 5 star luxury hotel with all the trappings. Unfortunately this does not combine the two!

Splendid historical palace ideally located for the main sights of Ubeda.

Loved the garden attached to the room. The room was spacious and cozy.

A stunning 15th century palace in the heart of a town dotted with Renaissance churches, palaces and homes. The best location for appreciating Ubeda's history.

It's location is good, but a little too hard to find when you've been out walking, even with a map.

This is an amazing, historic building. But, very comfortable modern amenities in the hotel room.

Hotel beautiful. Room and bathroom excellent. Staff friendly and very helpful. Where, as with most Paradores, the hotel fell down was the food. Breakfast good, extensive but expensive. Lunch and dinner offerings too “frou-frou” and expensive. As a result the restaurant was empty. We didn’t even bother to stay in for dinner and chose to eat out in the wide choice of excellent restaurants to be found close to the hotel.
