Lovely chalet based hotel with a very friendly owner/manager who was very helpful to us. While there was a minbar in the room, it would have been good had we been able to purchase a wider range of drinks and refreshments on-site. In addition, when the room was cleaned, they switched off the air conditioning. If we returned to the room too late, the room didn’t quite get cool enough for the night.

Nice clean room with sitting area both front and back. Children's play area next door but quiet by 6 pm. Breakfast was ok.

The property was not as described nor expected. It was fine if you’re looking for a hostel but not for a comfortable place to land after a long trip. The property didn’t offer any compensation even though we did not stay at all. Expedia was awesome in helping find another place to stay!

Our stay at Villa Rosy was lovely. The family room we booked was comfortable, clean and air conditioned! The breakfast was delicious and best of all Laura treated us like family! I will definitely come back to Villa Rosy one day!

Very welcoming. About 2km from a very large Sandy beach and a 20minute trip to Pisa. The rooms are very large and great for families

Villa Rosy is a very pleasant and unusual hotel. I received a warm welcome on arrival. My room was part of a single-storey terrace in the garden which has a secure entrance door and french windows at the other side to a small terrace. As it was winter, I didn’t use it but it would be a pleasant plac to sit before setting off on a day’s sightseeing. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. A bonus for me was free parking on site. It is located between the Marina and Torre del Lago, both walkable, although the former the closer of the two. I walked ther in about twenty minutes. In season, there are plenty of restaurants and bars but, although it was early January, I was still able to get dinner. I would recommended it.

Basic lodging with no ac just ceiling fan. Opening the wndow produced a nice breeze so slept fine. Breakfast could use some improvement. We skipped it. Close to the beach and owner was so nice. She loves what she does. The beach is the star here.

I had only stayed here for one night as I was attending the Pucinni Festival. Upon arrival Signora Laura, was really hospitable. As a single traveller she ensured that I had felt welcomed and helped with any questions I had regarding the area and how to get around. If you were in Torre Del Lago for one or two nights, it is a great base especially if you drive as they have parking facilities for guests.

We were here for a concert at Gran Teatro Puccini. Public transportation in Torre del Lago is scarce after 11PM so if you attend a concert, you should have a car or be prepared to walk. Our room was modest sized but adequate for our needs and very clean. Grounds of the hotel property were very nice. Only draw back was no AC in our room and so with the windows open, it was a bit noisy. All in all, I would stay here again. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

This quality of home care and pride in the details is rare for hotels. The owners obviously put so much love into their place. The room was very clean and well-appointed . Not big, by US standards, but comfortable and good quality in all details. We've stayed in dozens of hotels in Europe; and this one is memorable and charming. The walk to the beach is more like 25 minutes, so be aware!

Just as nice to see in reality as in the photos but a bit compact perhaps for some people. Warm welcome and personal service with the owner (who is an artist too - see his paintings on the walls) showing us to our room. Brekfast being included and on site parking helped to justify the price but I would expect a slightly keener price for these compact, but well presented rooms. The doors are thick, the fittings are new and of high quality giving a sense of comfort and quality. Well designed. 3 letdowns, the bed matress sloped a bit which is strange for a new room, the pillows very thin and in the toilet the paper was nearly finished so we ran out of toilet roll in the night! We checked for a spare in the bathroom and there was none. An average self service little buffet with a couple of cereals, yoghurts ect. The hotel was not very busy during my stay so I can not comment on sound as in other reviews. Regards the other reviews mentioning dogs: now there are no dobermans there. It is a 15-20 min walk from the sea in a safe touristy area with trees and picnic tables along the way,
