The location is unbeatable: it’s like 3 minutes from St. Mark’s Square, the Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. Lots of restaurants, bars, high-end stores and souvenir shops. Supermarket and vaporetto stations close by. Quiet location.
The rooms are small but cute and clean, with a safe and mini fridge.
Breakfast is bland and it’s the same every day. Some pastries, salami, cheese, a few fruit (some of them was half rotten already), hard boiled or scrambled eggs. Coffee and tea included. The lady at the breakfast area is super nice, as well as the ladies at reception. WiFi worked perfectly.
However, one morning the cleaning lady started saying ugly things out loud about another guest in front of everybody. Too bad I speak Italian and understood every word. The same person knocked on our door one morning and asked whether we wanted cleaning. I said that we would be out in 10 minutes—she then made a face and left. There was no cleaning for that day. Oh well.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
