Oh my goodness, this is one of the best places I've ever stayed while traveling. It's nicer than our own place. Great location with rooftop view of la pedrera/casa mila right across the street (which btw has an excellent cafe inside), near the Metro, near all the shops and cafes of the eixample district. The staff were all helpful and accommodating. The suite was clean, spacious, comfortable, safe, and full of every amenity one could need while traveling. We are a family of 3 and our daughter was elated to have her own little room with a real bed instead of a pull out couch and her own bathroom. When our stay was over we truly didn't want to leave. Don't airbnb/vrbo in Barcelona, stay here instead. Te amo, Barcelona!

Such a beautiful and unique hotel. It is within walking distance of so many key monuments and buildings. This hotel is right on the main road through Barcelona. It was very quiet and peaceful and the staff was amazing. They were very a consenting and we had no problem at all. Such a gorgeous view too!

The two stars is for the room we stayed in. It was enormous: a one bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, decorated by someone with tremendous style. It was such a welcome finale after a month of backpacking through Spain and staying in some tiny hotel rooms. This room had a dinner table, a pull-out couch, and a washer/dryer. In addition to appliances, the kitchenette had every tool we needed, from the best manual citrus juicer I've ever seen, to tongs and a collander. All of this accommodation is rendered useless by the pitiful customer service. Their front desk consisted of one person at any time of day or night. Requests for toiletries took a minimum of 45 minutes to fulfill, sometimes up to 2 hours. In the middle of our 5-day stay, we were informed that there would be a mandatory cleaning/inspection by housekeeping staff. Fine. We postponed our busy day of sightseeing to wait for housekeeping at its expected time so that we could be present. We ended up waiting for 3 hours. Near the end of the third hour, we called the front desk to question the housekeeper's whereabouts. The same man who had told us earlier that it was "hotel policy" to have the housekeeper come into our room pivoted to "it's only because she wanted to clean before your stay was over" as his lip service. When the housekeeper finally did arrive, she threw away all of our store bought toiletries that were on the bathroom counter, including toothpaste and contact lens solution. Upon checkout we reported this to the front desk man, an older fellow. He was indifferent and dismissive. Do not stay here.
