Great place to day and convenient to may great area attractions

Site was convenient.

The shower is a little slippery with no handrails, it could be a danger to some older people.

The hotel is very clean! Breakfast also very good. Beds and pillows extremely comfortable, but our favorite part was the patio outside overlooking the city in the mountains. Would highly recommend and definitely would return.

The property was great. My husband travels a lot and stated that it was much better quality than Holiday Inn and The Hampton which are normally where he chooses to stay. The staff went over and above to help him when he returned hours after checkout to locate a valuable item that he left behind. Will choose this place the next time as well!

Newly renovated property. Staff were helpful. Loved the cookies and hot choc/tea/coffee available all day. Beds are comfortable too. Would stay here again.

Overall experience was very positive. Employees were nice, the water pressure was good with lots of hot water. The free breakfast (basic American continental) was tasty and someone was always checking to resupply. Only complaint was cleanliness. Our bathroom smelled moldy (although we had a new bathtub which was nice). And on the last day while we were packing our gear to go we found an old half eaten slice of pizza and a juice box hidden by the side of the bed. We didn’t complain because the overall experience was positive.

Clean room. Great breakfast! Eggs, bacon, sausage home fries, waffles, French toast, and much more! Very quiet location.

You were not able to close the thick curtains on the window and the parking lot light shined directly in our room making it hard to sleep

We stay there every time we’re in Elkins now. Good memories, interesting old building, well maintained. Nice modern rooms and amenities

Overall, this hotel is really good quality for the price I paid. It offers breakfast in the morning as well as good quality rooms.

Everything was great with our stay except the 8am text asking me when “ I thought I would be checking out?” We travel quite often and I have never been asked that from a hotel. In this case checkout was at 11am which is fairly typical of most hotels. We didn’t even make downstairs for breakfast and you’re asking when I’m leaving? Very strange! It gave us the sense that our stay was being rushed. This practice definitely needs to be changed.

Nice & clean

The hotel needs some TLC in the rooms. The chair had a big rip in ot the floors were sticking and the curtains had either blood on them or chocolate. I hope it was chocolate. We did not stay there the following night.
