Spacious room and bathroom, with kitchette and good sized storage. Hotel and rooms are well-maintained and clean. Easy access to trams. Close proximity to some local attractions.

Good room, nice walkable city and lots of easily accessible shops and restaurants nearby. Had some trouble with the cleaning schedule but it was excellent otherwise.

Had a fantastic family holiday here. Friendly staff, really comfy beds, breakfast and dinner was included and the tram was only a 2 minute walk away.

This stay was superb in every way. The price was very reasonable, even cheap, for the value received. Dinner and breakfast were both quality meals, and the room and total facility was excellent. Best of all was the staff, from check-in to checkout.

Excellent value hotel outside the centre. Room was spacious, with a small kitchenette and the location is quiet. Bed was very soft and not great for our backs. Reception staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Food was wholesome and tasty and saved us a fortune on eating out. Staff in the restaurant were slow to clear the tables. Both the bar and restaurant were a bit chilly and lacking in atmosphere. There is not much of interest around the hotel but the tram is very close and the whole public transport system is excellent.

Really happy with our choice of hotel. Conveniently located between two tram stations (Elisedal and Varbergsgatan) which are only 5 mins away from the hotel. Best thing was that our price included breakfast, Fika, and dinner. Think that saved us quite a bit in terms of eating out. There are also two big supermarkets (Willy:s and ICA) close by. All staff were very friendly, including kitchen staff. The only thing to improve was that quite a bit of water came out of the shower unit which meant that the towel on the floor got wet really quickly.

The food was very good and the staff are very nice.

Rooms are spacious, clean, and best of all - quiet. Hotel has a dinner buffet and very large breakfast, both for which were very good.

Dinner was delicious as was breakfast with eggs, bacon and sausage. Hot waffles and tradiyional swedish pancakes were offered. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Free guest laundry available and was perfect for the midway point of a 2week trip with only a carry on bag! Staff was friendly and helpful.

We came to Gothenburg for an athletic event and we really enjoyed our stay at the Clarion Collection Mektagonen. One of our points for staying there was the kitchenette and that had breakfast and dinner included. That was a must. Breakfast was excellent!! I would have more options for dinner or foods with less seasoning but other than that an amazing hotel

Definitely raised the bar for quality standards all around. The included breakfast was great, but they also threw in a free dinner and late afternoon snack! Onsite gym & laundry was very convenient as was proximity to the tram stop and grocery store to stock the fabulous kitchenette. Above all else was the professional, knowledgeable, and helpful staff!
