The room was very old, the water smelled terrible, the staff were unhelpful, and the breakfast buffet was awful.

The staff were enthusiastic, the rooms were clean, and the hotel was well-equipped. My room had a pretty nice view of the airport.

I had a pleasant stay at Muong Thanh Luxury Song Han Hotel. Overall, everything was good. The room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning inside the room worked very well, which made the stay enjoyable. The breakfast offered a good variety of food and tasted great. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The only minor issue was that there was no air conditioning in the corridor and lift lobby area, so it could feel quite hot when waiting for the elevator or walking to the room. Fortunately, this was not a problem once inside the room, as the air conditioning worked perfectly. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and excellent staff service.

The hotel is large and centrally located; however, the facilities are outdated, and the elevators are small. The swimming pool is only for adults (only 1.6m deep), and the gym is also old. On the plus side, the staff are competent and enthusiastic. The breakfast buffet was crowded, but everyone served very quickly, and the Deputy Manager even came to help. I highly appreciate the work ethic of everyone here.

This hotel is part of the largest hotel chain in Vietnam. They offer a variety of rooms, including luxury, grand, and more. I recommend booking a grand room near My Khe Beach. The luxury rooms are further from the beach. The hotel is old, and you have to pay for an iron at the hotel. The building is attached to an office building, so whether you're dressed casually in the morning or going for a swim in a bikini, you're guaranteed to encounter well-dressed office workers.

The hotel is old and doesn't look very modern, however, the rooms, lobby, restaurant, and restrooms are all very spacious. The reception and housekeeping staff aren't outstanding but not bad either, an 8/10. The location is convenient for getting around, with many restaurants nearby. I stayed in room 19.12 with a view of the Han River. The soundproofing was good. I was near the elevator but didn't hear much noise. The buffet didn't have many dishes, but the taste was okay. Interestingly, they have pork offal here; I ate it both days. I liked the beef noodle soup, pumpkin porridge, and peanut sticky rice.

I asked for a plastic bag or any kind of container to hold my dirty laundry. When I asked the receptionist, she curtly replied, "NO, SIR." Then another female staff member said, "Excuse me, sir, we only have trash bags." I said, "Okay, whatever, as long as we have them." I was a little disappointed with the male staff member.

The hotel is good for the price. The staff are enthusiastic, the rooms are okay, and I had a good experience at the hotel.

The bellman was enthusiastic and attentive. The hotel was clean and provided welcome items and fruit.

Location: Okay. Staff: Relatively okay. Breakfast: Too ordinary for a 4-star hotel. Few options, and food was often missing and not replenished. The positive point is that the room was very spacious and comfortable.

Don't be fooled by the title "luxury hotel". It may be luxury when it was first built in some twenty year ago but not anymore. The hotel is old and lack of proper maintenance and up keep. Foods served in buffet breakfast are awful. Massage services are highly not recommended especially for women. The price is reasonable but people can find better hotels with the same price around the city. Overall, I give it 2* and never stay there again.
