Rooms are arranged around a sweet garden, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is nothing to write home about, and the service a little surly. However, the story of the owner at the front desk more than makes up for his demeanour: the hotel is his vehicle to help impoverished rural families, both through use of profits and facilitating volunteer work assignments.
Our dinner was very tasty, well-priced, and very memorable under a tree in the courtyard! Two large fires with seating around each provided beautiful settings for evening relaxation.
