Very welcoming hotel

The property is a little tired and needs some refresh. Carpet in the room is very old. Towels also need refresh. Overall very nice and staff is very helpful

Location is excellent, staff are friendly and prompt. We had a jr King suite but although it had a coffee maker/fridge/microwave it did not have any cutlery. Would also like to see better quality toilet paper. Or better yet bedets. I would recommend and stay again

It was great having a pet friendly hotel close to everything. The hotel is beautiful. Room was clean. What I didn't like was that a wall and armoire blocked the window from the bed. I didn't realize how much I need to see a window until staying here. I would want a different configuration next time.

Overall our stay was very good. We loved the location and general presentation of the hotel. Staff are welcoming and know what they're doing. Our rooms were generally comfortable but we did notice that noise from the hallways and ice machine are very pronounced. Street noise was not an issue. We did have one complaint about excessive noise from a neighbouring room and the front desk person resolved it in moments. We really appreciated that. Overall a good stay. There are some details that could improve like larger towels and pillows and maybe some more bathroom amenities but these are small inconveniences.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Fresh coffee in the lobby every morning was a treat.

Clean room, good location. Expedia room photos show a larger walk-in shower, but the room that I got had a stander tub/shower combo which the photos did not reflect.

Great location, lovely room, quiet, great staff

Very clean, easy check in, everything was great. One mote is its loud at night, understandable given it is down town. Didnt yhink about that when booking, however the location was fantastic for being in the center of everything you want to see. Very walkable and all around fantastic hotel. Old, but well kept!

Staff were very helpful. Great location. I will say the toilets are jet powered and may loosen a filling. It's quite jarring. But I got used to it.

Clean room, courteous staff…and the cookies were a bonus!!

Good deal for cost

The reception staff did not answer our calls and said they were busy but i did not see anybody around. There was somebody out in the corridoor continuously vaccuming and it was so loud. We asked for water and they took half n hour to provide that to us.

The Hotel Rialto is an absolute gem in the heart of downtown Victoria. The entire building, including our room, has character and style, was spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The concrete building was very quiet, and the bar/restaurant The Palms downstairs is well worth the visit, although you can easily walk to all the downtown restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as shopping and sightseeing. I would highly recommend the Rialto and would gladly stay there again.

Jin at the desk was amazing and very helpful. Really made our stay.

Rooms are dated and kept cold, amenities are lacking compared to comparable hotels in the area. Just not a warm or welcoming feel overall.

Great staff, large, dog friendly room

We stay here a lot. Clean let us check in early. Always great. Will be back.
