This stay was perfect, lovely hotel, staff extremely very friendly, dinner and breakfast very good, our room on the top floor was top class too couldn't fault it at all.

Staff were excellent they couldn’t do enough for you . I will definitely be staying there again when I’m back in the area on business , Also my room was a good size and clean .

Great little quiet location lovely pub lovely staff and great food and drink our second stay and won’t be our last 😊

Good food great hotel.......

Good : The room decor, the bed, the food, Parking, Sound thru walls, Breakfast. Not good : The TV (Very complicated NO STD CHANNELS), Ventilation - It was unbareably hot. Ringing reception - noone answered.

Room was a bit small but very comfortable. Dinner was top quality both in preparation and presentation. Staff were well trained polite friendly and efficient Breakfast had a wide choice and was well presented

We stayed overnight and it was lovely . The food was excellent and the staff were great . It's a lovely building in alovely location . Could do without the dogs in the restaurant though .would definitely stay again.

Great stay, very relaxing hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food so ate the restaurant all 3 nights of our stay. Good selection of drinks at the bar too. Very dog friendly. 30 minutes away from Delamere forest which was great for shady dog walks.

As a couple we really enjoyed our one night stay. Evening meal was superb and breakfast just as good. Staff helpful and friendly. Puddings are awesome ☺️

The rooms were spacious, charmingly decorated, and clean. The staff could not do enough for us, even postponing a scheduled fire drill because we told the breakfast staff I was planning on taking a jet lag nap before going out to explore the countryside. Meals were absolutely delicious with a great take on traditional favourites. A must stay!

The hotel was lovely and clean and the food delicious. The lady who waited our table was really friendly and talkative The bedroom was clean and tidy with everything we need and the bathroom was huge with a nice big bath and walk in shower My partner and I had a really lovely relaxing stay and would definitely return

We stay every year at this Beautiful place, the food is outstanding, the staff are friendly polite kind & helpful, the rooms are of a very high standard, clean, beautifully decorated & have everything you would need, beds are so comfortable, we look forward to going again next year!

Couldn’t find fault during my stay

A lovely stay. Beautiful, large, clean room, powerful shower which is always a great bonus. Food was excellent, Sunday Roasts were amazing and breakfast was tasty and there was a great menu to choose from. Would stay again if in the area.

This is an amazing place to stay at. The room was very spacious, excellent breakfast included, wonderful food and drinks on offer at the restaurant. Staff were always helpful and willing to help with any questions you may have. A few things that could be improved on such as no sockets beside the beds and a very noisy extractor fan within the bathroom that has been reported to maintenance to be repaired. There is not much more you could ask for a very clean room with everything you may need on offer in one amazing location wouldn't hesitate to go back when needing to stay in the area.
