We stayed overnight and it was lovely . The food was excellent and the staff were great . It's a lovely building in alovely location . Could do without the dogs in the restaurant though .would definitely stay again.

Great stay, very relaxing hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food so ate the restaurant all 3 nights of our stay. Good selection of drinks at the bar too. Very dog friendly. 30 minutes away from Delamere forest which was great for shady dog walks.

As a couple we really enjoyed our one night stay. Evening meal was superb and breakfast just as good. Staff helpful and friendly. Puddings are awesome ☺️

The rooms were spacious, charmingly decorated, and clean. The staff could not do enough for us, even postponing a scheduled fire drill because we told the breakfast staff I was planning on taking a jet lag nap before going out to explore the countryside. Meals were absolutely delicious with a great take on traditional favourites. A must stay!

The lady who waited our table was really friendly and talkative The bedroom was clean and tidy with everything we need and the bathroom was huge with a nice big bath and walk in shower My partner and I had a really lovely relaxing stay and would definitely return

We stay every year at this Beautiful place, the food is outstanding, the staff are friendly polite kind & helpful, the rooms are of a very high standard, clean, beautifully decorated & have everything you would need, beds are so comfortable, we look forward to going again next year!

Couldn’t find fault during my stay

A lovely stay. Beautiful, large, clean room, powerful shower which is always a great bonus. Food was excellent, Sunday Roasts were amazing and breakfast was tasty and there was a great menu to choose from. Would stay again if in the area.

This is an amazing place to stay at. The room was very spacious, excellent breakfast included, wonderful food and drinks on offer at the restaurant. Staff were always helpful and willing to help with any questions you may have. A few things that could be improved on such as no sockets beside the beds and a very noisy extractor fan within the bathroom that has been reported to maintenance to be repaired. There is not much more you could ask for a very clean room with everything you may need on offer in one amazing location wouldn't hesitate to go back when needing to stay in the area.

As usual The Bears Paw didn’t disappoint. Lovely staff, food and drink. The only down side this time as we stayed in a standard room was, it could do with a face lift.

A wonderful stay in a fantastic room. We've stayed here before, we will be back. Everything about this little gem of a place is spot on. Spacious, comfortable room - spotless! Delicious breakfast. Quiet countryside location, but close to the M6. Great evening meal served by a first class and very sociable waitress. Absolutely no negatives at all.
