This place is a must while in Edinburgh. Beautiful building with amazing staff ;-) A 10 mins walk to the Murrayfield stadium and 5 mins to restaurants and cafe. The hotel has also a restaurant which was excellent.

Fabulous hotel just a stone’s throw from the town centre and all the attractions. Attentive & friendly staff; exquisite decor and rooms and easily accessible trams & buses.

Fantastic break - just what we were looking for

The hotel was beautiful, cosy, peaceful and very very clean. Its decorated and maintained to a very high standard. The service could not have been better. The breakfast was FANTASTIC! staff were excellent too. We loved every minute of our stay here. Thank you so much!

Very charming hotel in an old mansion with spacious rooms

Room lovely and clean. Comfy bed. Free upgrade on arrival which was great. Staff good, breakfast good . Only disappointment was there was no fruit tea. Would recommend

He is an absolutely wonderful doing anything to help us with our time in Scotland from exploring St Andrews to arranging reservations, suggesting stores to get our son moved into his flat, and making our time very special at the Roseate. His leadership sets the tone for the outstanding service level delivered by his staff. We would and will stay at the Roseate again based on our experience and the beautiful accommodations. The room was spacious yet cozy, clean, and very well appointed. The bed was so comfortable. The staff were warm, courteous, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant was also excellent.

The staff were outstanding, welcoming, helpful and extremely friendly. The room was spacious, well maintained and the coffee/tea making facilities were very welcome. The public areas were very welcoming and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was outstanding both evenings we ate there and there was a wide range of drinks available in the bar. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Rooms were comfortable and provided all comforts. Restaurant and bar service was terrible and extremely slow. Staff seemed untrained in providing service in a restaurant as had to explain our orders even though only a 2 page menu. On our 2nd night waited an hour to get ordered drink before dinner even though only 2 couples in the restaurant. Extremely disappointing considering the price we paid for both accommodation and food.

Main reason for us to return was the warm, friendly and professional service from Maya - she was so helpful and thoughtful. Shout out to Alexander too.
