We enjoyed our one night stay at Scandic Hotel in Haugesund. Staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was as expected and bed comfortable. Room was quiet. Breakfast was excellent! Such a variety and many fresh options! The area of town was plain, and for some reason there are multiple Thai massage businesses nearby, but easy to walk to the waterside and main shopping street. Overall, would recommend for an economical and pleasant stay.

The immediate neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy. Breakfast was very good. Dinner included, but on Friday night it was closed.

Excellent hotel, stayed a few times now and always happy

There was no fridge in the bedroom so was unable to store the milk that I had just bought from the fridge. I asked reception and he told me all fridges had been removed. I was travelling for business with 5 other people who ALL had fridges in their rooms. There was no milk cartons of milk so I was unable to have a cup of tea on the bedroom. Not much to ask for! And do t appreciate being lied to. I will not been staying here again. I will stay in alternative accommodation on my regular trips to Norway.

Very clean, good sized room. Hotel was centrally positioned within walking distance to the harbour, shopping areas and local coach station. Breakfast choices were excellent.

Hotel had the basics. It was a bit austere. Neighborhood seems to be slowly becoming gentrified. Some blocks were very nice. Some blocks were shaky. Waterfront a few blocks away was very nice. On the street curb parking.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. It was a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and waterfront. The hotel seemed brand new, the room was clean, and the bathroom nicely designed. We had the breakfast buffet the next morning and took a hot coffee to go, which was great.

Very nice hotel. Quiet, clean rooms with comfortable beds. The room was small (normal by Norwegian standards). It was easy to get a roll away bed for our teenager who joined us at the last minute. Excellent breakfast buffet, as is typical in Norway. Tiny workout room in the basement.
