Super outdated. Looks dangerous in the area

My request for an airport pickup was not honored. The room should have microwave, since the hotel does not offer breakfast.

The wifi is strong enough to use for work.

Nothing special but in a very convenient location. Could have been cleaner but not terrible.

OLD INSTALLATIONS, FAILURE TO CLEAN AND MAINTENANCE THE ROOMS

The place is fine for staying just one night, at least that's what I thought. The hotel is ok, it's close to a metro station, has shampoo, soap and towels, it's got the basics. However, there was a tiny cockroach in the bed the morning after. The place can have whatever it might, but this puts it on the very bottom of the scale

The hotel is located next a casino and in a bad part of town. The rooms are old and dirty. The sheets are filthy and no hot water. Had to change rooms 3 times because of problems. The plaster walls are crumbling and the bathroom has cockroaches coming out of the shower drain. I will never recommend or stay in this place ever again . So disgusting.

I wanted a cheap dorm-style set-up and that's what I got! The price was right! I paid for an extra bed, which increased overall cost, but on the other hand that minimized the crowding, as I only had to deal with two, rather than three roommates. The two roommates I got did turn out to be nice people! Shower and bath facilities were clean. Sheets changed every day. No problems! If dorm-style living arrangements at a low cost meet your needs, then go for the Hotel Repúlica!

Ok for the price really. Not that clean and breakfast was ok at best. Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed.
