Staff at reception bar and restaurant were excellent and very helpful

Reason for mediocre review: When arriving at metal gate at 16:30, the gate was closed. We rang the interphone 10 times and called the hotel number, no answer for 25 minutes. Finally we saw a customer on the parking lot and he used his code to open the gate. Once at the reception, nobody was there except French policemen staying at hotel to secure the soccer Olympic game event at Stade de la Beaujoire. Finally one young and nice overwhelmed employee arrived at the reception and explained he was all by himself to cover the reception, the kitchen and cleaning the rooms! This is management negligence, especially when having a lot of customers. (140 French policemen were staying at the hotel) When leaving our room to walk to the Olympic soccer game, we realized the bedroom door could not be locked! We could not report the problem as no one was at reception when we left. When coming back from the game at midnight, we secured the door that was not locking by putting a suitcase against it. Other problem: the height of the shower head could not be adjusted and was sliding back to the lower point, which works only for very short people. No shampoo provided only liquid soap. No coffee or tea either. There is a well equipped kitchenette that we did not use. Finally, if you book this hotel for a soccer event, it’s 1.5 km to the stadium, about 20 min walk. The hotel seems quite new but obviously the management is not up to par to maintain the facility and manage personnel.

Excellent hotel for walking distance to the stadium, good facilities in the hotel but looked like a quiet area around the hotel. Good, safe parking facilities with excellent road links around. Wouldn’t recommend as a base for seeing the city but perfect for a stay for business in the area or for a game at the stadium.

Very fast check in considering how busy hotel was. Very friendly and informative. I also asked for quiet area which the hotel provided.

I was weary and tired and needed a good night of sleep and quiet. I picked the perfect place. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was great.

Clean modern hotel with nice amenities and kitchenette. Very helpful staff. Outside town, but parking and easy drive into town.

Clean, quiet, well equipped kitchen, nice staff. Everything was good until we saw our car window broken by thief after we checked out in am. They really need to do something about their opened parking lot. We were just unlucky. We were happy about everything but insecurity of the parking lot.

It is in the business district so it was quiet and empty when we stayed over the weekend. This place is busy during the week with business travelers. We didn't realize that this is part of the Quality Suites (US). It is in the very back of this long back road from the main road which you pass several other motels / hotels, businesses and apartments. The room itself was good. It has a fridge, stove, microwave, sink, kitchen supplies (plates, silverware, pot, pan) which is good if you plan to stay more than a couple of days. The bathroom is nice with a tub / shower and the toilet is separate. It has a combo soap / shampoo dispenser (like most hotels we stayed in France). The room has A/C should you need it and a big window you can open to get fresh air. It is good place to stay and close to the center of the city.

We stayed overnight on our way to Bordeaux. location is about 15 -20 minutes drive from the city centre . Lots of parking and room has a kitchenette . More of a commercial area a car would be useful. Great value for price point. Plaza with Boulangerie fairly close and a few restaurants also.

Good convenient hotel but a short drive to restaurants as hotel bar supplies microwaveable food for business clients.

This was an excellent stopover. Really comfortable room with air conditioning, which was sorely needed as it was 38 degrees outside. The beds were comfortable and it was handy to have a kitchen with kettle. The only downside was the cost of breakfast, which we chose not to have.

the bed is not so good

Nice clean hotel. Check in was a little slow as only one person manned the reception. Had to change pillows in room as they smelled damp. They changed them for lovely freshly washed pillows. I would stay there again.
