Room was tired with holes in carpet, and damaged bathroom panels. Room to hot with no way to switch radiation off. Receptionist wouldn't provide a Vat invoice and didn't want to accept payment for parking stating I would have to get a ticket

We had two rooms , my sister in one and myself and my daughter in the other. Our room was clean and comfortable, my sister's room appeared to be the same on arrival but later on in the evening when she opened a cupboard underneath the hospitality tray she found two half eaten pizza 's in boxes and mouldy garlic bread. She reported it next morning and the receptionist took note and was mortified to hear of it. However on returning from our day out they were still there so she took them down to the reception where another receptionist was mortified as well. She gave us all some tokens for a free drink that evening. We did enjoy our stay apart from that, the breakfast was very good , staff were very friendly and helpful, everywhere else was spotless.

So a mixed review. Pros.. quiet, good gym, comfy bed, only 20 mins from Hull brewers fayre down the road. I got the room for a reasonable price. Manager covering hotel was pleasant. Rabbits running about in garden behind. Plenty of car parking but i believe you usually have to pay for it. Cons... looks run down. Rooms not cleaned. Gym notice saying last cleaned in november, air con didn't work, no hot water in first room given and curtain rail on floor. 2nd room dusty, light bulb missing and shampoo dispenser didn't work. Told staff about issues but not rectified when asked. Was asked to wait 2 see if water warmed up by 6. Wasn't happy so received a new room which was nicer but still not great apart from bed. Room was partially service ie bed made but towels not repalced, dirty glasses and cups not removed and extras not topped up. Mirror broke. I just feel the hotel was going through a lack of leadership or staff. Kitchen staff called in sock etc I believe it was being done up as one floor was blocked off.

Great view of the estuary and plenty of outside space. Generous inside too. Staff brought us all we needed. Breakfast buffet had everything you could desire.

Pretty poor. Bedside lights not working, bath not holding water. TV remote didn’t work. Beers at bar poor, almost flat. Half the items on the menu missing and very expensive. Breakfast was cold. Stairs leading to rooms 1-18 dirty and carpets ripped. Would not stay again.

Property needs a revamp. Room had wall damage, carpets damaged. Tv was broken on arrival but thankfully staff replaced the tv. Beds gave us both a bad back every night. Shower is no good for someone 6ft or taller! Buffet breakfast was pretty bland but the breakfast was made to order on the weekend which was much better

Lovely place but restaurant was terrible half the menu not available i ordered fish and chips, the fish was massively overcooked the batter was really dark brown hard to cut into the peas were tasteless the only thing edible was the chips.

Staff all very helpful & friendly, reception & dining/bar areas nicely decorated & very welcoming, corridors & stairwells need some updating. Rooms are clean & relaxing, room TV's could offer more range of channels.

Whilst the Hotel was nice and friendly, I now been sent a car park payment. Which is ridiculous as I definitely log my registration number into the Hotel registration.. BEWARE OF THIS.

Having arrived at the hotel using a crutch to walk with. The checking receptionist then put me in room 17, with in his words just a few steps. Having descending a total of 14 steps, then finding the room was the last one down a vast corridor starting with room 1. The following morning at breakfast also up steps about 10 in total i met Maria a waitress in the breakfast room who saw my problems immediately. She said she would get my room changed and for the rest of my stay would bring my breakfast to me in the lounge area No steps involved. Later that day my new room 102 was on level flooring and the first room through door a much more accessible room for someone with Multiple Sclerosis. All in all it must said that Marias actions were above and beyond for which I was grateful.

Thd sign for parking says all hotel guests must pay for parking but in fact its free. But only when you go inside. The sign says pay upon arrival. I have emailed the parking company but nothing back so far. Why is the sign there ?? 3 night stay room not cleaned
