Lovely staff, took care of our belongings while the room was being prepared. It was raining and we were able to borrow an umbrella from the hotel. Quick check out. Clean room. Free water in the room, mini fridge.

Great hotel not too far from the main attractions.

We chose this property as it was close to the wedding venue. There were many dining options nearby. We really enjoyed the breakfast Buffet which was excellent. So many wonderful choices. The reception staff were very friendly and super helpful. It is close to the train station to travel into Barcelona. I would definitely recommend this hotel and enjoyed exploring the pretty town of Sant Cugat.

Room floor full of hair balls. Carpet really dirty with visible big stains. Only one small elevator working. Hotel in renovation what limited the use of exterior terrace and second elevator.

The gentleman at the front desk was a delight

Pretty nice hotel with excellent location and breakfast, however we asked a queen bed but we received 2 twins bed. On the other hand impossible to regulate the temperature of the AC.

If you are thinking for great stay with free parking near Barcelona, this hotel is perfect fit in your itinerary. Ten minutes walk to train station and takes you to Barcelona in 30 mins. Great and very welcoming staff.

My second visit to this hotel for work. It's central to where I want to go but it's very much a travel lodge arrangement. Basic and functional. The reception staff could be a little better, some barely spoke English and were very economic with information and directions. I wouldn't call them warm and welcoming. The local police seem to congregate in the hotel for their refreshments break and with only one staff member on reception you could be waiting ten minutes to be addressed. As a paying guest I'd have thought that guests have priority over casual callers. The hotel is clean but it needs an overhaul and in particular the end shower panel and immediate area behind the taps could do with a good scrub. There was no duvet on the bed only sheets but there was a blanket in the cupboard which I wasn't inclined to use as I'm not sure who would have used it before me. Overall as a budget hotel it does what it says on the tin. San cougat is really lovely and if I were returning for leisure I'd stay elsewhere.
