Beds were very comfortable. Furniture in rooms very comfortable. Walking/biking trails amazing. Food was good. Service great. ** only issue: it’s very remote & Uber is nonexistent and taxis are extremely expensive.***. So make sure you rent a car. Overall, highly recommended.

Second time we have stayed here. The location is excellent. The outside space and grounds are beautiful The staff we met were lovely, very pleasant. The breakfast room is huge and we enjoyed the breakfast too Negatives: it’s extremely dated and in some places it is actually shabby. The bed(s) were singles pulled together, not fastened, so they separated if you turned over during the night. The beds also had very ill fitting toppers on them which also moved. So much so that my wife fell on the floor thinking she was leaning on the bed - but was actually just the mattress topper overhanging the mattress by about 6 inches! Overall this is a lovely place but could do with modernising.

The room was very cold. Even when wearing trousers and two shirts in the bed, could not sleep well.

This could be so good. An amazing location, nice grounds and great staff, but the buildings really need a redecoration job to be brought up to current expectations. This could easily be a luxury health and wellness retreat, but at the current standard it isn't. Great for a family stay, not so much for a full holiday.

Quiet hotel without the woods, totalling relaxing

Lovely location in a peaceful wooded area. Rooms a little dated. Carpets in hallway a bit tired looking. Breakfast buffet very good. Evening buffet the day we were there was €33.50pp. Swimming pool decent size but closed twice a week 12-5 for children's swimming lessons.

THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE WIFI WAS VERY SLOW

Nice hotel in amongst the woods. Good size rooms with a balcony, but bed was not particularly comfortable. Also the TV was an old CRT style!

Major letdown this time around. I was visiting this hotel because of the golf tournament I played next door. Unfortunately, a party was going on Saturday night, until 4.30 AM in the morning, with very loud music and very loud (drunk) participants. Didn't sleep all night and was very disappointed with the hotel staff next morning - but there was nothing they could have done to repair the damage anyway. I can't recommend this hotel anymore, this is unacceptable IMHO. You can't let other hotel guests pay for the pleasure of others and keep them awake all night. Never will I stay here again and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

This was our third visit to the hotel as we have family in Boekelo. Lovely peaceful hotel with excellent breakfast and facilities

Hotel with great facilities in a beautiful location. Breakfast is included and excellent. I only did not like the bed which was very soft. I removed the mattress and slept on the base

A lovely short stay with an excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms were outdated and need a revamp. Also a problem if you do not have your own transport. There was an issue with the booking through hotel.com as the resort was not aware that we required a bed for our child- but resolved in the end.

Unfortunately this hotel needs a lot of improvements Carpets in rooms and public areas are worn and full of stains Terrible condition of the matrasses have a negative impact on the comfort of the room Balcony is dirty and chairs are too dirty to sit on Furniture is old and shows signs of wear and tear Breakfast is good but restaurant not very inviting Staff is friendly and helpful I have left a written note for the management expressing my disappointment in the condition of the hotel and also informed them that I will share my experience with Expedia

Very good without any problem

I arrived in the afternoon,my first impression to the approach was very untidy and damp looking ,the gardens and entrance looked drab .once I entered the hotel the whole atmosphere changed....good reception staff,spoke very good English ....the staff in the hotel really made the stay enjoyable ,rooms were OK ,a little tired in outlook....but if you like 70s style you will love it ......breakfast was brilliant and loads to eat .....but it was close to an English breakfast .....probably a "double Dutch " breakfast !! ......I really enjoyed my stay ....probably in summer the gardens will look better .....for my son and myself the stay was brilliant ......thanks

The breakfast buffet was great and there was a terrace which overlooked a pond with a fountain which was so relaxing. They let you rent out bicycles with child seats! Also they have a relaxing fireplace where you can eat dinner comfortably and a little kids play area to keep the children occupied.

The rooms were clean, the service excellent, the amenities were very nice and the hotel was off the beaten path.
