Decent enough hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Only real gripes were the restaurant which gave us our worst meal of the trip - They basically don’t do Vegetarian - it was so bad we had to send one of the meals back. The spare bed In the main room wasn’t really up to standard for a non couple, sharing a room. The spa and pool was a bit on small side, the Sauna had no light for 2 days, the shower temperature fluctuated from Cold to too hot - All relatively minor gripes, but we did pay a lot of money for it so expected a little better. We got overcharged at the end for things we hadn’t had which was sorted out pretty quickly but again just an irritant. Like I said, the staff were generally great - Particularly the Front of house - but a couple Of things could do with improvement.

A little gem of a hotel. Very helpful staff, lovely pool area and close to the centre of the village. Ski lift was a very short walk away and we could ski back almost to the door.

The hotel was fabulous, a traditional building that really was comfortable. The pool, Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were great after a days skiing. The beds are really comfy and the distance to the lifts was just 100m or so. You could ski back to the doors if you work out we’re to come off the main slope to do so. The breakfast wasn’t my cup of tea though. I will be staying here again, it was my favourite ski hotel.

Hotel is centrally situated for ski lifts, shops, restaurants and transport. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had great views from our room with a sunny balcony, a large bathroom and comfy big bed. A real bonus was the fabulous spa suite, which includes a pool (you can swim in), jacuzzi, sauna and hammam plus a sunny relaxing terrace with loungers. Individual ski lockers are provided for each room. We would definitely stay again. One suggestion would be to have a tiny fridge in the rooms, for those like us who like to cool our drinks and make rolls for lunch.

Lovely friendly hotel, excellent breakfast, a little noisy at night...not hotel guests but people going home past the hotel late at night/early hours of the morning. Would have loved to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.overall warm, comfy hotel, would definately stay again.

The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. On our arrival our room smelled of cigarette smoke and this was promptly and efficiently removed. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to the ski pass office though it was a bit of a slog to the lifts. However, I soon found a route to ski back to the hotel - well almost - via the rear of the medical centre next door.

We used the hotel for an overnight stay on the way from France to Germany. It was a little bit more out of our way than expected. The room was quite comfy although a little shabby around the edges, Staff on reception were very pleasant. Surrounding scenery very nice. Quite expensive restaurants in village.

Good news is the Alp'Hotel is only 30m from the bus stop, 150m from the Cret de Merle chairlift, 125m from underground parking @ 15+ euros a night, 200m from 2 supermarkets, 150m from town square and several restaurants/bakeries within 100m. Triple room was a good size, big enough for cot with full length balcony. Bed was supple rather than hard. Bathroom with his and hers basins and separate wc. Staff gave excellent service. The great location and decent room size come at a high price. Breakfast was 14 euros extra. Recommend a trip on #2 bus to the lake and Teleski area at Confins Chapelle and expert skiers will also head for Telecabin de Balme on #2 bus or ski indirect via the Cret de Merle. For absolute beginners there is a fabulous area on the Beauregard plateau 1690m which means beginners do not need to ski on wet/icy snow. There are 2 button lifts, 1 for total beginners, the other for 1-3 days experience. The village is amazingly beautiful and for an expert skier Aiguille, Fernuy and Balme will be very satisfying. Balme is hidden behind a sheer vertical rock face and is north facing so other than the very top it gets no sun during the entire day which means snow stays perfect top to bottom all day in January. Will definitely return to La Clusaz but if you are willing to walk an extra 100m you can reduce hotel costs by a third. 1hr transfer from Geneva airport by Allo Taxi (ask hotel) was 125 euros midweek and 165 on Sun.

Alp Hotel is right in the centre of La Clusaz. The service was very good ,helpful staff.  The hotel pool area needs some work but overall it's what you would expect for the price.  I would stay again.

Stayed there for a ski week. Good location with close to the lift. Fantastic service and friendly staff. The standard rooms are somewhat small and the shower could have been better. A bigger bar would have been nice and also outdoor bar. The possibilities are there!
